4 /5 Geno Jessmone: 4/4/25 I read a lot of the reviews and they were all positive. I wanted to give they a try. So the Brisket today was just a littler dry but it was good. I tried the potatoe salad very good and the Cole slaw green apple was very good. 1st time trying that kind of claw. They have a pretty nice outside seating with corn hole and plenty of seating. The restaurant was very nice and plenty of seating.

5 /5 Karen Benites: I recently visited this place and tried their brisket, ribs, mac and cheese, and elote. Everything was absolutely delicious! The brisket was tender and flavorful, the ribs fell off the bone, and the mac and cheese was creamy and perfectly seasoned. The elote was a standout too…so good! It’s evident that a lot of care goes into the food here. The flavors were on point, the portions were generous, and the overall experience was fantastic. If you’re looking for some really good BBQ, I highly recommend stopping by. I’ll definitely be back!

2 /5 Cameron Shumake: When me and my girlfriend walked into this place, we genuinely thought we were in the wrong restaurant. All you see online is bbq, but it’s also a Mexican restaurant. Now dont get me wrong I like Mexican food, but mixing the two isn’t great. The jalapeno poppers were good, but the rest of the food wasn’t. The brisket was cooked good, but had absolutely no flavor. Sausage was way overcooked and the burnt ends were served in a puddle of grease. The coleslaw had no flavor, the green beans were hard, but the potato salad is good (it’s hard to mess up). The service was good, and we were immediately greeted. The massive downside is the price. I would have been less hard on this place if I didn’t just spend $80 for the small amount of food that I got not including tip.

I don’t live in Cleburne, but I was visiting family and decided to stop by the drive-through to place a large order—everyone wanted something different, with plenty of customizations. The young man at the window was friendly, courteous, and incredibly thorough, and every single item in our order was perfect. The food was fantastic and generous in portions. The baked potatoes were huge, and everything—from the sliced brisket and quesadillas (the sauces are amazing!) to the elote, mac and cheese, nachos, sweet potatoes, and green beans—was delicious. I know there are some past negative reviews, but this was not my experience at all. Next time I’m in Cleburne, I’ll definitely be back. I noticed they have chili rellenos on the menu, and I can’t wait to try those!

5 /5 Liz Sus: We are from Weslaco, Tx. We visited a state park earlier and for lunch we looked up BBQ places and decided on Chisholm Trail Smokehouse. A decision that we wouldnt regret. We ordered the Brisket Nachos, Brisket Sandwich, Smoked Elote, Smoked Jalapeño Popper, Mac N Cheese, and the Smoked Cheese steak . Our daughter is very picky and I was surprised she gave her Smoked Cheese Steak and Mac n cheese a 9/10✅ . My husband said his brisket sandwich was really good and so was the potato salad; he rated his meal a 8/10✅. I really loved the brisket nachos. I give them a 10/10✅....their chips, brisket, toppings; it all was delicious. The elote had a savory flavor. The filling to the Jalapeño Popper was on point. The cherry on top was our waitress Alexandria. She was very attentive with us, great customer service. Overall we had an amazing experience.
