5 /5 Michelle Daigle: We almost didn’t stop in — City Limits has that classic little dive-diner vibe, and being in a more rural area, I’ll admit I was skeptical. I’ve learned the hard way that great reviews don’t always mean great food. I’m very happy to say… I was wrong.
From the moment we walked in, Jackie completely changed the experience for us. When she found out it was our first visit, she went out of her way to make us feel welcome — even offering samples before we ordered so we could be sure we liked what we chose. That kind of service is rare anywhere, and it set the tone right away.
Then the food came out — fresh, perfectly seasoned, and genuinely delicious. You can tell it’s made with care, and suddenly it made total sense why this place is always busy. The menu has great variety, and what really stood out was the willingness to be creative if you don’t see exactly what you’re craving.
Coming from Austin — a city that takes food seriously — it’s refreshing to find a spot that truly lives up to its reputation, both in service and quality. City Limits exceeded expectations in every way, and we’re already looking forward to coming back to try more of the menu. This place absolutely earns the love it gets.
Highly recommend!!
