Chris Sides Loved it! I give it 5 stars! Stopped in for lunch and I’m glad I did. I had the smoked chicken breast sandwich and beans. Yummy! I’ll be back soon!

Karl VanOver Meatloaf, Chuckwagon Burger (medium was perfectly done), Beef Enchiladas, and Hamburger Steak (with cream instead of brown gravy, also done at a perfect-medium) & sweet tea were all excellent. This is our new must-do (rather, must-eat-at) spot in Kerrville. And special thanks to "Steph" for superior tableside service. Quality flavor & value are great, but outstanding customer service keeps customers coming back!

Wirasinee Rakchiam I stopped by The City Grill Killeen on a friend’s recommendation, and wow—I was blown away! The atmosphere was warm, the service was fantastic, and the food? Absolutely delicious! I had the grilled steak, cooked to perfection, and paired with some of the best sides I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to come back!

Julianne Davila We recently hosted a baby shower at Cafe at the Gardens (Aldridge Gardens) and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! I was hosting the event for a friend, and the entire team went above and beyond to make the day so special. Alisha, the manager, was absolutely amazing—so kind, professional, and helpful throughout the whole planning process. Her assistant manager (I feel terrible for forgetting his name!) was also fantastic. They helped by having the tables set, provided linens for all the tables, and made sure we had everything we needed for our group of about 50–60 guests. They helped me choose a great menu that worked perfectly for our group. The food was the perfect amount, everything tasted great, and they had the full staff available to serve drinks and assist wherever needed. Even clean-up was a breeze—they took care of all the trash, which was a huge relief! The setting was beautiful, the staff was wonderful, and the price was incredibly reasonable. We’re so grateful for such a posh and stress-free experience. Highly recommend for any special event!

Kimberly Bowens I came in a few minutes before opening for Sunday brunch, not realizing they opened at 11. Instead of turning me away, the team warmly welcomed me in! I was seated on the patio (which is covered — and thank goodness, because it started raining while I ate but I stayed perfectly dry and cozy!). My server Julia was amazing — she took my order right away and customized my meal without hesitation. I had the Ultimate Eggs with fried eggs instead of poached, and added a mimosa with peach schnapps — SO good! I also asked for something sweet on the side and Julia brought me syrup and a fig preserve that took it to the next level. Manager Roosevelt came by twice to check in, and the entire staff was friendly and welcoming. The customer service here is top notch — everyone smiled and treated me like a valued guest. This was such a peaceful solo brunch, and I genuinely can’t wait to come back. Great food, great vibes, and clearly, great people. Highly recommend!

Abigail Roy Great experience, atmosphere is warm and intimate for how many tables there are, the music is excellent and adds to the vibes, and the food is delicious- I got the fryckle fries and mozzarella sticks? To die for! My partner got the kickin’ chicken sandwich and says “the sauce is excellent and the chicken was great, ended up eating a lot more than expected”. Demonte was fabulous, great presence and made everything super easy. It was very busy (but it’s Friday night and expected), so drinks took a little bit to be refilled but that’s perfectly fine for how many tables were in our server’s section, and food came out *very* quickly for how busy it was. We will be coming back :)
