Downtown Aquarium - (Near Houston, TX)

5 /5 Sedona Harker: I had an amazing time at the Downtown Aquarium. Never have I been to an aquarium that has a restaurant, stingray exhibit, rides, shark tunnels, and a tiger!! It was absolutely beautiful and I had the best experience. I totally would go back just to redo everything. The only downside is that the aquarium is on the smaller side, however I think everything else makes it worth the price!! Can’t wait to come back.

5 /5 Tania Anderson: Ive only been here twice but loved it both times! The seafood platter was delicious on the first visit and the turkey dinner for Thanksgiving actually provided two meals at $26.00. Ill definitely return!

4 /5 Bryan Carter: Worst Aquarium I’ve ever been to, but still giving it a 4/5 because its not just an aquarium. This place needs a better name or to be represented as something other than an aquarium - while they have aquatic life on display, its very limited. What they have in addition to the fish, makes up for what it lacks. Fair-style rides, shark trains, concessions, city views, a restaurant with aquatic views AND EVEN a TIGER?! it makes it a great experience for all - even those who wouldn’t be excited about an aquarium.

5 /5 Chloe Flippin: I took a trip to the Downtown Aquarium in Houston and honestly had such a great time! From the moment we walked in, it was like stepping into a mini adventure. I loved getting to see all the different animals — not just the fish, but the wild ones too. Every exhibit had something cool to look at, and there were so many species I’d never seen up close before. The fish tanks were gorgeous, the animals were super fun to watch, and the whole place just had this exciting, immersive vibe. You can tell they put a lot into making the experience feel magical. It’s one of those places that makes you feel like a kid again, wandering around with your eyes wide open. If you’re looking for something fun to do in Houston, whether you’ve got kids with you or you’re just going with friends, I definitely recommend stopping by. I had a blast and would totally go again!
