J Marie Woah this is by far the best seafood Houston have to offer. Get taste and its not soaked in butter like other places. The seasoning is soaked in and not just sitting on top or tossed on. Great flavor, great amount of spice. Quick service. I will be coming back again for more

Dave Tokar This place has a very friendly staff. The chips and salsa are good. Salsa tasted fresh. Service was quick greeted with in minutes of sitting and offered tortilla soup was was very enjoyable. I had the Carne guisada taco the Vallarta taco and Cazadorez plate. Guisada was rich flavorful with just a kiss of spice, the meat was tender and the flour was I believe house made. Also these were large tacos. For a lighter appetite one could be a meal. The Vallarta taco was large as well stuffed with tender beef , refried beans, fries and pico I think. I sorry in are faster than reviewing. The Cazadorez plate was tender beef and sausage, charro beans rice and guacamole salad. Meat was well seasoned mixed with grilled onions, charro beans had amazing flavor rich broth and I believe chichirron and possibly beef, the rice was firm and delicious. I did ask for the house made corn maza tortillas and lord help me they made my day. Do not pass on the house made corn tortillas its like a hug from Grandma.

chris matthews Found this place on accident. A very happy accident (Bob Ross voice). It has a Quirky atmosphere. Amazing food! The chicken fried steak is world class! Hand breaded with REAL homemade gravy! Amanda is an awesome cook and super friendly.

Kathleen Carlisle Went for dinner on Friday 8/29 Food was excellent! I had Special Order #3 PepperSteak & Sweet and Sour Chicken. Hubby got #2 Orange Chicken & Sweet and Sour Chicken said it was great. Our friend got #6 Mango Shrimp & Bourbon Chicken. She said it was very good! So much to eat we all had to get a to go box. Server was great. We will be back.

Lori Goats Oh my word! If you like southern home cooked meals, this is your place! There’s a really great selection of food in a cafeteria style line where you select you meat and sides and they put it on your plates. How they get that much food on your plate is pretty amazing . Choose from gumbo, catfish coubion, beef tips with gravy, smothered peas, greens, cornbread and TONS more. They offer fried food in the afternoon and pm I believe. You gotta try this little hole in the wall that is high cuisine!
