Pink Hat Gypsy Took a detour from Dallas to SA to check out this restaurant that I had been hearing about for years. We were not disappointed. The town of Waxahachie is charming, and Big Als is located on the square right across from the courthouse. Loved the eclectic decor inside. We ordered a cheeseburger and waffles and chicken. Delicious, perfectly cooked burger, the chicken and waffles were the best Ive ever had. Tender perfectly cooked chicken and yummy waffles. It was Fathers Day, and they were having a tell your best dad joke day. Great place, perfect location, delicious food, excellent service, would definitely detour again to visit.

Petrisor Bodea When you cant decide what you want for dinner and you see a BJs around, just park and walk in! This location did not disappoint. Food was excellent, lots of choices from chicken, fish to Ribs, Steaks and Prime Rib. Our server was nice and polite. No issues at all!

So they said they will make it now give them another 20min. So we go home go back close to 20min later an they sold my pizza because I showed up late?! Like negative! I showed up on time. I will now on travel to Vernon to get my pizza.

Kelly Olson-Mills I LOVE this place. This place has character. The food is so good, service is great, The owners are the friendliest people and answered all my questions about the local history. You guys did a super excellent with the decor, I really love the tables, thats a lot of work, good job. Your hospitality was priceless OTR drivers are very welcome, Theres a lot next to the building for parking. Stop by and enjoy the small hometown feel. Little gift shop that supports locals. Beautiful things. Wheel barrel need to get back out to your vehicle, because you will be stuffed when you leave

CAWM Honestly wasnt expecting such amazingly tasty food. The boudin link is a must try! The steak was perfect! They cooked it exactly how I asked and it was super tender and juicy. My one peeve is their Arnold Palmer taste like tap water and unsweet tea. I didnt even taste a hint of lemonade. So if youre an Arnold Palmer fan dont waste your time lol
