Lampasas Beer Market - Lampasas

Rating: 4.5 /5
Clay Don’t be worried when you walk in, it’s dark and thrown together like your favorite college bar… but that’s because the focus is on the food. Absolute best wings I’ve ever had in my life! Burger was exactly what you want for a long game. FRESH taste of tap beer (very clean lines). SERVICE was very attentive, sweet, welcoming (Texas Style). Place is perfect! Will be back again soon

Millers Smokehouse - Belton

Rating: 4.7 /5
K J Millers Smokehouse in Belton isn’t just about incredible BBQ — their breakfast is on another level. The breakfast tacos are easily some of the best in Texas. The tortillas are warm and soft, the eggs are perfectly cooked, and the brisket or sausage fillings give every bite that smoky kick you can’t find anywhere else. They’re hearty, fresh, and made with real care — exactly what you want to start your morning. And then there’s the cinnamon roll… unreal. It’s massive, soft, and dripping with just the right amount of icing — sweet, buttery, and baked to perfection. You can tell it’s made from scratch and not something pulled from a freezer. Pair it with a cup of their coffee, and you’ve got a breakfast worth driving out of your way for. Between the quality, the friendly service, and the cozy atmosphere, Millers Smokehouse nails it every single time. Breakfast here isn’t just good — it’s unforgettable.

Maria Diaz ***Updated Review*** I’ve had the pleasure of coming back to this café a few times now, and every visit has been just as delightful as the first. Kali, Cass, and Eric consistently go above and beyond to make the experience thoughtful, warm, and enjoyable. It’s the little touches that make such a big difference, like the time they dried the outdoor tables and chairs after a rain shower and even brought out cushions so my dog and I could sit comfortably outside. That level of care is rare, and it truly makes you feel welcome. Chewbacca (my dog) is just as smitten with this place as I am! He devoured the Lassie Meal (chicken and rice) from their dog menu, and when they surprised him with a fresh-baked dessert made in-house for pups, his tail could not stop wagging. It’s safe to say he’s now a loyal customer too. For myself, every dish I’ve tried has been a hit. The shrimp Caesar wrap is one of my favorites—the combination of black beans, queso fresco, and that creamy chipotle sauce creates a burst of flavor that feels fresh, unique, and deeply satisfying (and as a California native, I know good wraps when I taste them!). On another visit, I ordered the creamy penne chicken with bacon on Kali’s recommendation, and I’m so glad I listened. The Alfredo sauce was hands-down the best I’ve ever had, rich, smooth, perfectly seasoned and the asparagus wasn’t just an afterthought, it was tender and plentiful, adding the perfect balance. And of course, the desserts are unforgettable. The lemon berry cake was moist, vibrant, and bursting with flavor. But the real showstopper was the decadent chocolate cake drizzled with caramel sauce, it was the kind of dessert you want to savor slowly, but it disappears too quickly because it’s just that good. This café has truly become a special place for me, not just for the consistently delicious food, but for the people who make it such a joyful and memorable experience. Kali, Cass, and Eric bring so much heart to what they do, and it shows in every visit. ***Original Review*** My partner and I had the most fun, uplifting, and truly unique experience at this café, thanks to our incredible server, Kali. From the moment she greeted us, her beautiful spirit and vibrant energy made the atmosphere feel warm and welcoming. She didn’t just take our order, she brought the menu to life! The way she described the food and desserts was filled with so much passion and confidence that we could genuinely hear the leadership and love she puts into what she does. On her recommendation, I had the B.L.A.T. sandwich with turkey and mozzarella—absolutely delicious! My partner went with the shrimp Caesar wrap, which was equally amazing. And when Kali started describing the award-winning Puns Colada cake… there was no way I could resist. I’m so glad I didn’t, it was everything she promised and more! We’ll definitely be coming back, not just for the delicious food, but to experience Kali’s amazing energy again. She turned a casual café visit into something really memorable. Thank you Kali we will see you again!

Gabriel Avocado BLT was so good, I made everyone stop for lunch on the way back home so I could get another one. Picked up a few of the Dublin sodas to bring home. We loved the fact that they let us choose a slice of pizza as one of our sides.

Andre Padron Popular place for Italian food. It took about 35 minutes to seat us on a Saturday evening. Not terrible. The service was on point. The waitress was very helpful to aid in a choice of wine and food choices. We had the Sausage Lasagna and Chicken Parmagiana with Mozzarella Garlic bread to start. Everything was amazing. We will be returning.

Andy Nguyen This is my second time dining at this restaurant, and the food is absolutely amazing! The bún thịt nướng was fresh and flavorful — the grilled meat was tender, the vegetables crisp, and the spring roll perfectly fried. The pho here is also delicious. Everything from the service to the cleanliness is top-notch. Highly recommend this place!
