4 /5 Jacob Romero: I’ve dined at Traveler’s Table several times and recently chose it to celebrate my birthday because I genuinely love the food. The dishes were excellent, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, as always.
Unfortunately, one aspect of the service took away from the experience. When I mentioned that one of the drinks tasted off, our server (Miranda) became argumentative and defensive, insisting the batch was freshly made. To ensure it wasn’t just my personal taste, I had several friends try the drink, and they all agreed something seemed off. I ultimately let the issue go.
What made the situation more disappointing was when a manager approached our table and explained fruit harvesting in a way that felt dismissive and degrading rather than professional or guest-focused. While I understand seasonality affects ingredients, it doesn’t justify speaking down to guests. If seasonality plays such a significant role, perhaps the menu should reflect what fruits are truly in season.
That said, I want to acknowledge that this experience does not reflect the entire staff. Many of the other team members we interacted with were attentive, kind, and consistently went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of, which is something I’ve come to expect and appreciate at Traveler’s Table.
The food remains outstanding, and I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as I truly enjoy this restaurant and would love to continue celebrating special moments here.
