JESSE Travels Chris’s Kitchen, located near Borger in Fritch, Texas, is a great little spot for a hearty meal with a hometown feel. The restaurant is well-loved by locals for its comfort food and welcoming atmosphere, and it’s easy to see why it has a solid reputation in the area. During my visit, I found that the service was a little slow, but the staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was well-prepared and flavorful, making it a great place to grab a bite. One thing to note is that the restaurant does allow smoking, and the smell of cigarettes was noticeable throughout. However, they do have a separate seating area for non-smokers, which I appreciated. Another plus is that they usually have daily specials, adding variety to the menu and making it easy to try something different each visit. If you’re looking for a casual dining experience with good, home-style cooking, Chris’s Kitchen is a solid choice.

Alicia Cardwell Absolutely loved this place! They had both a vegan menu and a non vegan one. My husband had the blueberry pancakes, and I got the vegan kitchen sink burrito. This made me so happy! Vegan options can be limited at times. So, really, thank you so much to the brunch truck for having endless plant based meals to choose from! Also the staff were incredibly nice and helpful!!

Andy Lu We had a 3 month old baby that needed to have a car seat break so decided to eat here since it’s a good middle point between Houston and San Antonio. Very nice staff. Very chill vibes, good space to sit and chill for drinks and food. Walked around outside with baby since it was very scenic. I didn’t expect the food to be that good but it was very enjoyable. I ordered the cluck yea and it was definitely a sandwich I’ll remember. This now will be my stop anytime I do a trip to San Antonio in the future

Brenda Ochoa We had a mobile order for 2 footlongs. Let me say this, yes, everyone has a bad day but what I picked up was downright horrible. One of the sandwiches, The Boss, was burned beyond belief. It was charred black all the way through. Out of the toppings we asked for only two jalapeños were on the sandwich. The other one, The Beast, was also burned and no toppings we asked for were on it, but we did one topping we didnt order. I mean come on, you dont have lettuce and tomato? Since this was a mobile order, I feel the worker didnt care how they came out because we were just going to pick up and leave. When I did pick them up, noone was in the store and the male worker was sitting down using his phone.

Kiandria Levy My husband and I new favorite spot. We tried the hot wings 10/10 they were super good. We both love the fish plates super good 20/10. Wec10/10 recommend this place
