5 /5 Billie Jeraminas: Paris, you better not be sleeping on this gem! We go back & forth from Oklahoma to Texas quite a bit & usually stop in Paris to eat. This was our first time here & almost didn’t stop because it was 40 minutes till closing. I hate to be the person who comes in with less than an hour before closing. Peyton was so sweet though. We happened to be there when the owner & his wife were eating. We got to talk to the owner. Also, such an awesome story. They raised 9 kids & moved to Paris to open this awesome place. The smoked fried chicken is probably one the best thing I’ve ever put in mouth. I know this is crazy to say, but my goodness the mashed potatoes were insane. The pulled pork with blackberry jam bbq sauce… ridiculous. The bread pudding was amazing. Butter pecan bread pudding, come on now. Then the banana cherry pie. When he told me the story of making the pie with his grandma for the holidays, well I had to try it. I wanted to take one of every dessert. Oh, I almost forgot the jalapeño soup is insane. Him & his wife are geniuses. I will make the four hour round trip from Tyler every day off until I try everything on their menu. Do not let this place sit empty. You don’t know how good you have it Paris. If you want that Ratatouille effect, you need to stop here.

5 /5 Rebecca Fountain: Interesting little find in Paris. Located right next door to the Krogers. Lunch menu was good. Strongly suggest that you request for a local desert (i e banana pudding, bread pudding) as our cake was shipped in from a bakery in Dallas (hummingbird cake). Always sampling the Chicken fried steak, husband said the steak was good, but the breading was off just a little.

5 /5 AndradeCrew5: Delicious food! We tried the Fried Green Tomatoes which were yummy! The zippy sauce and a special house made spicy sauce that were great for dipping. Eiffel Tower Salad, which had a great flavor, chicken strips which were so crunchy and huge, the burger and slider which were great, the pork ribeye which was very good and the okra and mashed potatoes on the side! Everything we tried we enjoyed! The staff was all very friendly and helpful.

2 /5 Vanessa Nessa: My family and I came here to eat after reading so many great reviews, so we had high expectations. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t match what we had read. Many reviews mentioned friendly and attentive service, but our server was not very friendly and was absent for long periods of time. It also took quite a while for our order to be taken. We also heard great things about the food, but the entrées lacked flavor overall. The mac and cheese didn’t really taste like mac and cheese, and the jalapeño soup was just okay, not very flavorful. The green beans were the best item on my plate, and the deviled eggs were delicious. We also couldn’t help but notice a difference in customer service toward other guests around us, as they seemed to receive much better attention than we did. Overall, the experience did not live up to the expectations set by the reviews.

5 /5 Dodee Hill: Niah was our server and was wonderful! She was attentive and on it- especially for our party of 7. The food was all very good, too. One of my girls really enjoyed her Monterrey chicken and rice. I loved the mashed potatoes, creamy jalapeño soup, and my hot Chai tea was the perfect touch on this chilly night. Loved this place!
