John Sweeten We went and it was nice. No one was there but it nice actually house that gives a big family vibe. All the food felt lite and refreshing. The Escargot was a bit different but the chicken parmigiana was good. The crepe and bread were really good. I want to come back and try more. Definitely worth checking out if you like find unique local spots.

Sydney Wilson By far the best lunch spot! A true hidden gem. I have yet to find anything on their menu that was not worth the five stars. Its always fresh and tastes wonderful. The pasta salad is addicting. My new go to spot for sure.

Jackson Fish We had a great experience during our visit, and our waitress Gerry did an outstanding job taking care of us. She was attentive without ever being pushy, checked on us at the perfect times, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Our drinks were always refilled, our food came out just the way we ordered it, and Gerry was warm, patient, and genuinely welcoming. Service like that makes the whole dining experience better. She definitely deserves recognition for a job well done.

Christopher Lund Really good food. The chicken tenders were great! It is out in the middle of nowhere where but I recommend. The atmosphere was fun also. A lot of people there the night I went but service was still good. Not expensive either. Plenty of parking.

JandJ Griffith The Standard is anything but standard for that part of Texas. Its a unique and very upscale standout from the rest of the choices in and around Bertram. Dishes are prepared with excellence and the selections are quite brilliant. Cocktails are crafted expertly. Their old fashioned is excellent. The restaurant is small but not cozy or "cute". Rather, it has a bold and rich ambiance that enhances the experience. It does get a bit loud when it is crowded thanks to the old school metal ceiling. A minute distraction against all the pluses it had going for it. The filet mignon was extraordinary. We could cut it with a fork. The blueberry salad was refreshing and unique. Sides were great as well. It was one win after another.
