Imagine my surprise when I stumbled upon Hacienda Buffet in Fort Worth — a true hidden gem that feels like someone dropped a slice of Mexico right into the heart of Texas. From the moment I walked in, I knew this wasn’t your average buffet. The food? Amazing. A wide selection of Mexican-style meats, fresh fruit and veggies, seafood, salads, salsas, traditional desserts — I could go on. Just a heads-up: no guac or avocado, but honestly, with this many delicious options, you won’t miss it. The service was friendly and fast, and the whole place was clean and inviting. But here’s the twist: the outdoor area is a total vibe. We braved the heat to check it out and were met with shaded patio seating, an outdoor bar, a peaceful water fountain, a waterfall (yes, a waterfall), and picture-perfect spots everywhere. I could totally see this place hosting weddings, birthdays, or spontaneous dance parties. I only wish I lived closer, because this would be a regular weekend ritual. Fort Worth, y’all are lucky. Guac Star We had an amazing dinner at Aspen Creek Grill and it was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a while. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Our table ordered a variety of dishes, and every single one was delicious. The ribeye was perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with flavor. The fish was fresh and seasoned just right, and the chicken tenders were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. We also tried the grits, mashed potatoes, fries, sautéed mushrooms, and macaroni — and honestly, there wasn’t a single thing we didn’t enjoy. The sides were flavorful and clearly made with care, and the portions were generous. The prices here are more than fair for the quality and amount of food you get. It’s the kind of place where you leave full, satisfied, and already planning your next visit. The service was attentive without being rushed, and our drinks were always topped off. If you’re looking for a spot with great food, friendly service, and excellent value, Aspen Creek Grill is a must-try. We’ll definitely be back!

April Gonzalez Hear me out; I know this restaurant is run out of a gas station, but you have to give it a try!! My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. We got the lamb shank, butter chicken, garlic naan, samosa, and a mango lassi. I cannot emphasize how good everything was, and how excited we are to have found an Indian/Pakistani restaurant in this area. We will definitely be returning!

Lish Came here for dinner during the holidays. The place is beautifully decorated and they had live music playing. Grabbed some holiday inspired drinks. Got the frito pie and it did not disappoint. Looks to have a great big outdoor area so will definitely be returning with our pups!

John Seckar Excellent little hidden gem of a restaurant. Wait staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Food was excellent as I had the chicken fried green tomato sandwich and it was delicious. Prices were reasonable. Place was also very clean and not too noisy. I suggest if youre looking for a rather extensive menu of options to tingle your taste buds and a great place to take friends or dates go here. The plating was spot on as well. Kudos to the ownership and management job well done.
