Asia is an amazing server and one of the most friendliest and kindest servers I have had in a long time, it made the experience that much more enjoyable. I will definitely be returning and this is a place I would recommend to both family and friends. If you want a place to get good food and great service, go to twin peaks!

sherry spratt Our first time eating at the Republic of the Rio Grande restaurant on my birthday. What an amazing experience. I had the avocado salmon and my husband had the 12 oz ribeye. Both were excellent. Our waiter, Hector, was wonderful. He made me one of the best old fashions I have ever had! Dessert was an on the house almond taco filled with vanilla mousse that I had read about and it did not disappoint. Our first time there but definitely not our last!

Every time I’ve come here, the servers have been fast, courteous, and genuinely attentive. You never feel rushed — if you need something, they’re right there and honestly theyre always in a good mood naturally. This time was especially meaningful. We came in hoping to have a quiet place for Bible study while we ate, but the dining area was pretty noisy and it was too cold to sit outside. We mentioned to our server that we were just trying to find a peaceful spot to do our Bible study, and without hesitation he got the Manager and he said, “We have a private room in the back — you can use that.” Even though the lights were off, he turned them on and set us up in a quiet corner so we could have our time in peace. That small act of kindness meant a lot. Not many restaurants would go out of their way to accommodate something like that, especially when it comes to something personal like Bible study. It felt respectful, welcoming, and above and beyond what we expected. We were able to eat, talk, and study comfortably without feeling rushed or out of place. That kind of hospitality is rare, and it made the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for great food, warm service, and a place that truly cares about its guests, La Playa Mexican Café is it. The first few times were great, this time we drove 20 minutes both ways, just to get home and find that my quarter chicken plate was so over cooked it was not edible. It was shriveled up and so small, it was like jerky. No meat on either piece of chicken at all. We called and they said to bring it back….not driving another 40 minutes sorry. No refund offered. Super disappointed because I wanted to support this new spot and had high hopes. Not after today’s experience, we won’t be back. What a waste of $12 that they refuse to refund.

Two Dollars It has been several years since we visited Marios Seawall Italian Restaurant and it did not disappoint. All our meals were delicious and the service was outstanding! We did go on a Saturday afternoon in December so it was not crowded and we were seated immediately. The last time we went was in April on a Saturday night and the wait was around 1 and a half hours, but the wait is worth it. I recommend either their catch of the day or the Fisherman Stew (which is what I ordered again). And you have to try their brown butter cake, which I did not get a picture of because there were forks in it as soon as it was sat down on the table.
