La Hacienda Mexican Grill - (Near Gatesville, TX)

Cheryl Anna We stopped here for fuel and grub, my first time here. The smell of smoked brisket, chicken and BBQ was so wonderful. We were greeted then made our order of BBQ, fast and delicious. I ordered the kids plate of chicken and fries...delicious. My parents ordered the 2 meat plate with sides. They really enjoyed it as well; this is not their first time here. Visited the restrooms just to check cleanliness, very nice and they have a baby changing station. All of the antiques are neat to look at, a walk back in time. There is a gift shop and display for honey raised here in Texas. We topped off our lunch with a brownie from the dessert display....wow! So good, enough to share with others. Great place to stop on the way to Corpus Christi or even South Padre Island. Thanks for the grub.

Ken & Heather Smith The pizza and macaroni bites were delicious. The atmosphere is nice, especially the outdoor patio that overlooks the lake and park. Very relaxing. They do have a bar but its cut off from the rest of the restaurant so you dont have to worry about shenanigans.

Regina Elizondo ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great food and even better service! The fajitas and tacos were delicious, and everything came out fresh and hot. The chips and salsa were super flavorful too. Fernando, the manager, was very friendly and made sure everything was perfect during our visit. You can really tell he cares about the customers. Definitely recommend Palenque Grill—will be coming back!

Cindy L Eureka. Lake took fabulous care of us and also gave us some directions of what to do around town. I love this guy‘s personality. He was awesome. We ordered the bison burger. It was cooked perfect and had a big jam and caramelized onions on it. I didn’t want seed oil french fries so I ended up getting Caesar salad and it was delicious. I WOULD RECOMMEND

Michelle S. SPICY TUNA CRISPY RICE… that’s all I have to say about this place. If I had to recommend only one, it would be just that. Everything about it is perfection, but the only thing I would say is it can have tad more spice to it. Regardless, I would literally come here just to get a couple orders of it. My husband has tried out their rolls, and he enjoys them. I’ve only ever ordered the Chirashi and everything tastes fresh and I love the variety of the pieces of fish. Everyone is always friendly, attentive, and welcoming. This has become our go to sushi spot whenever we are in town!
