EMILY RIEMENSCHNEIDER First time here and definitely will be back! This is absolutely my new go to restaurant. Perfect for date night or with family! The staff was awesome, great view of the canal and great atmosphere- the food was INCREDIBLE! I can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend! Also best lemon drop I’ve ever had and I’m picky!

Steve Johnson Today we dined in at this Italian restaurant, and since we love gnocchi, we knew exactly what to order. I had the gnocchi with garlic butter and grilled chicken, and my wife ordered the baked gnocchi with pink sauce. We both truly enjoyed our meals everything was flavorful and perfectly prepared. We travel a lot and are always searching for good Italian food across Texas, and we’re very glad we chose this restaurant. The food was excellent, and the ambiance was warm and cozy, just like an old-style Italian restaurant. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and gave great suggestions for authentic Italian combinations. They also serve homemade rolls which are very fluffy and delicious. Overall, our experience was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area looking for authentic Italian food.

V Wendi (Wendi) We ordered curbside. It was ready on time and hot. All but one side was there when we got home but we didnt even much care because the other food we had was plentiful and scrumptious. The side wouldnt have been eaten anyhow. Will definitely be returning.

Amanda Morrow Hands down the best pizza! Very comfortable and cozy dine-in experience and more than that, the employees, Rachel and Martha went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They give you a feeling of family that leads you to hope for another visit. The pizza and other food is a welcome bonus to the atmosphere! Well definitely be returning! David Hayes Its a fun place to go with friends when you want to have a boisterous engagement. Its loud and happening. Im usually a more relaxed type of person, but I do really like their homemade rolls and peanuts. I could literally go there just for that. The best Ive found to eat there is either the Chicken Fried Steak or a Steak. It would be slightly a higher rating if they had willingly refilled my drink. I was at the bar for my meal, and no wait time in a crowded restaurant at peak hours. Very impressive seating time and good family atmosphere.

Gilberto Sanchez ​Black Bear Paw is extremely popular for a reason: the food is phenomenal! The staff are incredibly welcoming right from the moment you walk in, greeting you with a smile. Our server was so helpful and made excellent recommendations that we truly enjoyed. ​I ordered the California Bacon Benedicts, which were perfectly executed—rich hollandaise and flawlessly poached eggs. My wife had "The Grizz" and loved every comforting, flavorful bite. ​Everything is clearly made fresh, which is wonderful, but be warned: the place was packed, and the wait for the food was noticeable. ​Verdict: This is a clear 5-star winner. While the wait for the food is a little longer than some places, it’s only because everything is truly made from scratch and worth every second. The incredible food and incredibly pleasant, helpful service make this an absolute must-visit. Highly recommend!
