LAB C FOOD KITCHEN - Bastrop - (Near Bastrop, TX)

5 /5 Iyonie Lynch: We’re new to Bastrop and have been on the hunt for a good Vietnamese restaurant and Lab C Food Kitchen did not disappoint! I have pretty high standards when it comes to Asian food, and I can honestly say they delivered so well. We started with the shrimp and pork egg rolls, and wow they were big, super flavorful, and served piping hot. I ordered the All-in-One Pho and it was delicious, hearty broth, tender meats, and very comforting. My husband got the beef stir fry with fried rice, and everything on his plate was packed with flavor. The beef was tender with that nice grilled taste, and the sauce and fried rice were both really good. Plus, the portions were generous definitely not stingy! A special shout-out to Helen, who took care of us from the moment we walked in until we left. She was warm, welcoming, and just amazing overall. We’ll definitely be recommending Lab C Food Kitchen and will absolutely be coming back!

5 /5 Binta Thomas: One thing about it! This will ALWAYS be my favorite spot for a good pho! I got the large steak and brisket which I can always get 2 servings out of ! Hits the spot every time! Super friendly staff. I was offered something to drink while i waited too. Awesome!

5 /5 Leslie Arredondo: Literally the best fried rice, chicken and beef stir fry I’ve ever had. It has that charbroiled fresh flavor that’s hard to find. If you like spicy food order level 3-5 on the fried rice.

5 /5 Kat F: Food was great, and service was even better! They were very welcoming and attentive. My sister and I had the Pho - no meat with the chicken broth, very yummy and they let me have extra sprouts at no charge! The fried dumplings were also delish, though I think Id prefer soy sauce to the dipping sauce they provided, which was a spin on it. I learned the owners are very involved in the community! Which is very refreshing, Im pretty sure it was the owner/husband that visited our table twice to check in.

5 /5 Lawrence Fontana: The pho was good, the staff and service was friendly. My mother and I sat inside and it was hot as hell, it must have been 80-85 inside so if you dont mind sweating while you eat no problem. One of the staff members had half a shirt on because im sure if we were sweating they for sure were in the kitchen. Pho had good meat and good broth and came with the usual bean sprouts etc. The herbs werent that fresh had black spots on them but I dont really care and still ate them and they tasted good. The limes were great. Overall Id say if you can wear shorts and a tank top and sandals it might not be that bad and the food is good enough to justify.
