Line Thai Cafe - (Near Alpine, TX)

Joy Lokey We arrived right at closing to Heuans, but were allowed to order takeout. The hostess was very gracious and promptly had us back out the door in reasonable time. Had we dined in, the atmosphere was nice, except because we came right at closing, all tables were in need of bussing and a few customers were winding down their meals, and otherrs picking up takeout. We were stopping over in this quaint little town of Hereford on the way up to Colorado from the San Antonio area. We were staying by the Auquatic Center in the community RV site overnight. We brought our food back and sat at a picnic table by the lovely lake. I didnt take pictures of our meal. Kip had the Teriyaki plate, and really enjoyed the tender beef. I ordered the chicken lettuce wraps and pork veggie spring rolls. Divine!! The food, kind service from Heuans and atmosphere by the lake really hit the spot after a 10 hour day in the road towing our camper. Loved the Hereford park! Wish our town had that!!

Jeffrey King My wife and I came down here for the first leg of our honeymoon. Zoe N. greeted us our first night with a bottle of champagne out of the blue and surprised both my wife and I. She was such a warm and loving individual to open the door to. The following day we decided to eat dinner at the restaurant and Zoe ended up being out hostess and ultimately our server. I do not know how her boss is but this young woman either needs to be promoted or given a raise. She is going place and needs to be treated as such.

Zach T. Great food! I’ve had most of the items on the menu already haha! The beef torta is my favorite so far!. Juan is so nice and so often I’ll find an extra taco or a seasoned chicken leg as a bonus treat!

Scott Moberly I hosted a surprise retirement party for my wife yesterday at Whiskey-N-Smoke down on the River Walk—and let me just say, she wasn’t the only one in for a pleasant surprise! I had never eaten there before, but I liked the location, appreciated how easy it was to get to, and wanted to support a local spot. From start to finish, working with Jamie Creevy, the GM, was a breeze. Planning an event can sometimes feel like herding cats, but Jamie and the team made it smooth and stress-free. The menu? A mouthwatering lineup of brisket, smoked chicken, potato salad, Cole slaw, green beans, salad—you name it. Everything was flavorful, generously portioned, and honestly, just downright delicious. (Let’s just say no one left hungry or without a to-go box.) The servers and bartender were top-notch—attentive, kind, and on top of everything. The bartender even crafted a perfect strawberry lemon drop for my wife, which quickly became the drink of the afternoon. (We may or may not have a new family tradition.) Everyone raved about the food, the service, and the venue—and I couldn’t agree more. This was my first time at Whiskey & Smoke, but it certainly won’t be my last.

J Davis Our waiter LaLa was the best. Very professional, friendly and down to earth she made our experience that much more greater. She was very attentive. Despite being busy she didn’t stay gone too long, and in very reasonable intervals asked us if we were ok and needed anything. These are things i pay attention to at every establishment i visit and she deserves this recognition for bettering my experience. Pleas recognize her. Overall the vibe was amazing. Great place, food , good music and atmosphere . We will be regulars here.
