Lubys - (Near Angleton, TX)

Hunter Alise I’ve been here two times now and have never been disappointed. It may look like they have a small food menu but they definitely have all the staples and something for everyone. They do also have two vegan options on the menu as well. Aside from the food, their cocktails are so GOOD! They offer a variety of margaritas (frozen or on the rocks) and have one of the best palomas! My waitress said the Paloma was her favorite and she was not wrong! Speaking of the waitress, the service was great and she checked on us frequently which I appreciate. I would like to mention that I rated this in the $20-30 price range per person because if you’re looking at getting an entree and a drink from the bar, that is what you should expect to spend. An entree alone is around $15. Can’t complain though!

Denisse Caro del Castillo Lovely place right on the Strand, Christmas decor made it look very nice, but the place itself has its charm. Food was delicious, perfect combination of flavors on our Thanksgiving Sandwich. Even the vegetable plate was amazing. Service was very good as well, everyone made sure we enjoyed our visit.

Kim Johnson We love this "hidden in plain" sight gem. The food is consistently top-notch and the service is great. I always feel welcomed and comfortable. Highly recommend if you are traveling on I-30 near Mount Vernon. We will be back.

Scott Wilson What a great experience! First time at a Bubbas 33. I sat at the bar. I just want to say this is how a restaurant bar should be ran. There was never more than 5 minutes before I was asked if I needed anything. Taylor and Zoey made a great team. The manager that I cant spell her name but it started with an S, came and gave me coupons because she found out it was my first time. I really think all the major Restaurants with bars should send their bartenders here to just watch!

Julio Cesar Went for the food and stayed for the service! Jessica was an awesome waiter. Got my order right and was very attentive with my needs!

Stephen Moczygemba We decided to stop in after a afternoon of Shiner Brewery tour. Great German food! Recommend stopping in as they also had great appetizers and other food options such a chicken fried steaks and ribeyes!
