Mariposa - (Near Plano, TX)

CAWM Honestly wasnt expecting such amazingly tasty food. The boudin link is a must try! The steak was perfect! They cooked it exactly how I asked and it was super tender and juicy. My one peeve is their Arnold Palmer taste like tap water and unsweet tea. I didnt even taste a hint of lemonade. So if youre an Arnold Palmer fan dont waste your time lol

Mister Myself Ill complain first. Wish the bun(Spurdough) was toasted or cooked a little more. The lemonade was not very good. A single beer was $6.75. Its a bar. Military/first responders discpint was 15%. The burger was very good. They have many options of potatoes. Duck wings were good. Onion rings as well. Outside dining and some room in the back. Just off the main square so you can walk there if you parked somewhere else. Plenty of parking around the side.

Trine Santa Was our first visit, and will certainly not be our last. The service was great…our beverages stayed filled and we didn’t have to wait on anything. The unsweetened iced tea tasted fresh brewed - I am particular about “several day old tea” taste. The food was tasty and well presented. We tried the Not-so-common BLT and the Mushroom Risotto. Reasonable wait time on the food preparation. The BLT bacon was good cuts of bacon that were absolutely perfectly cooked. The eggs were just right…cooked enough to not be too messy, but not overcooked so the yolk was like a nice sauce on the bacon. The fries were perfectly crispy and potato-y. The risotto was creamy and a good consistency. It was seasoned well, allowing the mushrooms to be the star of the show. Great location, it’s right in the town square across from the courthouse. Will try it again based on our first experience.

Mr. Caceres I’ve driven by this place for years not thinking much of it. One day I decided to stop in for lunch and boy was I surprised. It’s a quaint small town bbq joint that has a nostalgic vibe of the late 90s/early 2000s which adds to its charm. I had the Tuesday special of a loaded potato; pictured below (I chose the brisket). The cost to amount of food ratio is great. And the quality of the food was amazing. I will definitely be coming back

Blake barnes Food is AWSOME!!! Service was amazing! My server Jacob was very nice, attentive, and welcoming. I mentioned that It was my first time and the manager brought me a free entree of their house made barbecue chips and dip. The atmosphere was also nice. I ordered the Steak Kabobs and Apple Huckleberry Pie with Ice cream. Both 10/10. Will definitely be back!

Douglas Carey Love the food. The bar had a lot of draft beer options. TV sets everywhere to view the games. Waitress did a good job as well. I will definitely go back.
