Delilah Soliz I loved the attentive service and the flavorful, well-prepared food. Although they did not have any vegan options listed on the menu, the staff went above and beyond to create some delicious vegan tacos tailored to my dietary preferences. The chips paired perfectly with the bean dip as well. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Grant M. Sonic has always been a gamble for me, but this one is a tight run ship. Stopped in after an A&M game on the drive home, missed my turn for McDonald’s, and stopped in here instead. The food was hot and fresh, and the service was quick and accurate. The bathrooms at Sonics are usually pretty dirty, but the ones in Caldwell were spotless. Honestly I was blown away and whoever is captain at this location deserves a raise. Will definitely stop in next time I’m in Caldwell.

If you’re looking for a place that feels like stepping back into better times, Onion’s in Borger, TX, delivers on the atmosphere. Old-school shotgun diner vibes? Check. Walls decked out with antiques, small-town nostalgia, and real-deal Americana? Double check. This place isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a history lesson with a side of fries. They’ve got two seating areas—the classic shotgun-style diner section and a bigger, more intimate space that still keeps that nostalgic charm. As an antique collector, I found myself wandering around, just soaking it all in. It’s got character, and that’s something you don’t find in every diner anymore. Now, let’s talk food. The Carcol Burger? Legit. Juicy, flavorful, and exactly what you hope for when you bite into a good burger. The chili cheese dog? Meh. It wasn’t bad, but I’ve had better. Maybe I’ve just been spoiled by some legendary hot dogs in my time, but this one didn’t hit that level. The fries? Homemade and seasoned to perfection. Not the frozen, out-of-a-bag kind—real-deal, crispy, golden perfection. Service was on point, too. The staff was kind, attentive, and respectful, and my food came out fast. No long waits, no attitude, just good, small-town hospitality. Final Verdict? I travel the USA for work and have tried a lot of places. Some spots stick with you, some don’t. But this one? Pinned to my favorites for the Texas Panhandle. Night Owl Stacey This is my go to local Mexican Restaurant. Decent prices, lots of options from breakfast to dinner. The Sweet Tea is on point. I have tried many plates here and havent been disappointed.

FullTime X2 Love me some golden chick. The Lotta zing sauce is amazing and the spicy Lotta zing seasoning is excellent on these chicken strips. I have stopped at this location twice and both times could not go inside to order. When your in an oversized vehicle you cannot exactly go through the drive through. This last time we walked up during the day and was surprised the inside was closed. A lady came up and slapped a "drive through only sign" on the door and wouldnt acknowledge us standing there at the door. We waited in the drive through standing there and the other girl did help us. When I asked her why the inside is closed she said because they are short staffed. I saw a cook leaning against the wall literally doing nothing the whole time we were there and another lady filling the orders. Three employees. Maybe Im wrong but that was enough for us to run a taco bell back in my days. Enough to run a burger joint back in my days. Not sure if its just laziness or what but someone needs to take note of this. And the fact that we tapped on the door for the lady to help us and she just walked off like screw you was not coop. Other issue is they didnt get our order right so we had to go back to get it corrected. Also the first time we went they were out of Lotta zing sauce and salads. Also didnt have sweet tea. Ill try staying away from this location in particular as I have never had bad experiences at other golden chick locations.

RC Yanes Great outdoor fun all the way around! There are plenty of outdoor activities for the whole family! They have a basketball court, a moon bounce, and an awesome jungle gym! Bring a football or a Frisbee for plenty of open space to run around. Great drinks and great food! Tried a little bit of everything on the menu! Highly recommend the southwest egg rolls and the peppino margarita! Also pet friendly! So bring your dog out for some fun, too!
