Newks Eatery - (Near Lufkin, TX)

Jeff Tried this restaurant today for a late lunch. I had the man-size Philly and my wife had the grilled shrimp taco. Both were extremely good. Fries and tots were nice and crispy, too . U got to try the crooked cheese sticks. Regular flavored, but fun to eat. Okay, here it comes ... Only problem I had was the philly was so large I couldnt try their dessert! Lol. Next time dessert first. Very proud, patriotic decor which being a vet I like. P.S. Bubbas 33 u need to add a Space Force flag too.

Mrs Williams ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 I finally tried The Jerk Shack in San Antonio after seeing so many reviews, and let me tell you — the hype is REAL. I usually take online reviews with a grain of salt, so I started simple and ordered the pulled pork, while my daughter got the fried chicken. When I say this food was GOOD… I mean OMG good. The pulled pork was delicious, and after tasting my daughter’s fried chicken, I literally had to go back and order my own — plus the cocoa bread! Everything was seasoned perfectly, cooked just right, and full of flavor. All I can say is OMG. So, so good. I absolutely cannot wait to go back!

Tori Zimmerman This place is amazing for breakfast or lunch!! The almond croissant was phenomenal. The atmosphere is so unique and comfortable. I love bringing people here from out of town for it is a true Downtown Paris Texas staple!!

Nona Taylor We ordered take out and the meal was quite good. My husbands steak was tough around the edges but quite good in the middle. Otherwise, it was a wonderful meal! Thank you and God bless!

J Estrada We had lunch here. It’s a small, cozy place and the service was a bit slow during our visit. However, the food was very good. I had their version of a Philly cheesesteak sandwich (Gaucho sandwich) and the bread was incredible. It was definitely one of the best sandwiches that I’ve ever had. The waffle fries were very good, too. My wife had their sirloin shish kabob with wild rice and said she enjoyed it, as well. It gets pretty packed, so you may have to wait a while but the food definitely makes it worth the wait.

Meghan Longoria Garcia from the minute, we walked in to the minute we walked out. It was a most pleasurable experience the atmosphere the friendly customer service. The attention to detail made our seafood experience. Want to remember thank you staff. We had a great dinner. Ms.mayrose our waitress is outstanding 10/10
