Nikki W. Im a New Orleans native, living here since 2005 and todays visit to Shell Shack was the first time in 20+ years that Ive had what taste like authentic New Orleans fried seafood in Dallas. I had the oyster basket and it was easily a 10 out of 10. My daughter had the coconut shrimp basket, and she said that it was a 10 out 10. My son in law had a seafood boil that consisted of boiled shrimp, mussels, snow crabs, potatoes, corn and, smoked sausage with the kitchen sink sauce; he gave it an 8-9 out of ten. We had the fried calamari and it was the best weve ever had; 15 out of ten! The hushpuppies were even delicious and a 10 out of 10 as well. We thoroughly enjoyed everything and well most definitely be back.

Leilani ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five Stars, Without Hesitation I rarely give five stars across the board, but this Cracker Barrel truly earned every single one. From the moment we walked in, we were treated with such kindness and care. The hostess, our waitress, the gentleman clearing tables, and even the ladies at the checkout counter in the store area all made my husband and me feel genuinely welcomed and seen. That kind of hospitality is rare, and it did not go unnoticed. The food was absolutely delicious, comfort food done right, and we were pleasantly surprised when they let us know about the military discount, something our own local Cracker Barrel has never mentioned. That extra thoughtfulness meant a lot to us. There is some construction happening on the main highway nearby, but honestly, it was a non issue. We simply turned around a bit early after missing our turn and had no problem getting right into the parking lot. Because of the exceptional service and overall experience, this will now be our Cracker Barrel. Anytime we are driving through this area, we will stop here, no question. Thank you to the entire team for going above and beyond. You turned a simple meal into a really meaningful, memorable experience.

Kelley Jacobs BEST Blue Cheese burger ever! If you’re obsessed with Blue Cheese like me, ask for extra blue cheese, but you probably won’t need it. I got my burger medium. Sooooo good!

Sarah Johns Its an awesome place to grab a bite to eat! We had a spectacular dining experience at Fat Boy Burgers when we visited Johnson City. We cannot wait to go back! They offer indoor or outdoor seating and the drink station is self-serve. Hubby and I both ordered the Blue Ultra Classic burger with onion rings. This exceptional burger burst with flavor and was cooked perfectly. The blue cheese crumbles, bacon, grilled onions, and mayo are a delicious melody of flavors that have you wanting more with each bite of your juicy burger. The scrumptious onion rings have a nice crunch with a perfectly cooked onion inside and they just have a great flavor. The menu has many options, and they also offer homemade desserts. We did not have a long wait for our order, and the welcoming staff offered exceptional customer service, making us feel right at home. Also, I loved the decor, and this unique establishment is not a typical chain restaurant. The vibe of a small town restaurant filled with friendly people is hard to beat. Their prices are great as well. I highly recommend a visit to Fat Boy Burgers. Trust me, you dont want to pass this one up!
