Ohana - *Sushi*Ramen*Poke - (Near Waxahachie, TX)

Barrett James This place is truly a hidden gem. Well, maybe not quite hidden to the locals, but for those outside of the area, it doesnt receive the accolades that more popular Texas bbq spot get. I mean, this is one of the best in all of Texas, and Ive had lots of the big names and small ones from the backwoods to the city. The meats are phenomenal here, perfectly smoked, not overly seasoned with a bunch of salt, just good ole fashioned low and slow smoky Q. The ribs needed no sauce, but the sauce is very good if thats your thing. I usually only go for the point on the brisket, but this place has mastered brisket because the flat was tender and juicy. The different take on coleslaw was such a nice touch, not just some cabbage drenched in ranch, but instead a nice array of vegetables in a lighter olive oil type dressing that was delicious and better than any bbq spot Ive ever had. The Mac and cheese with burnt ends was just yummy. Also, we tried the sausage, and it was another one knocked out of the park. The only drawback here, like all the great smoke houses, is they run outta meat! They are done by 4 from what Clem told me who gave us excellent service. We will be back amdakr sure we beat the crowds. They also do some specialty meats that they run outta early before lunch as those who have found this spot will snatch up pounds.

Tim There was no wait to get a table which started off nice. Once seated we waited almost 10 minutes before the waiter came to our table. He apologized and immediately said we could order a appetizer for free since we had to wait. The steak was delicious and did not disappoint. Asparagus was fresh and delicious as well as the baked potato. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Sabrina Holmes This was our second visit to this location. Great customer service. Great food. The fried green tomatoes are so good. The onion Rings are great for sharing. The bang bang shrimp tacos are very good. The steak salad is delicious.

Brady Popp It’s a convenience store atmosphere. Those that remember godfathers pizza back in the day will enjoy the personal pizzas. The serving size is filling.

CAWM Honestly wasnt expecting such amazingly tasty food. The boudin link is a must try! The steak was perfect! They cooked it exactly how I asked and it was super tender and juicy. My one peeve is their Arnold Palmer taste like tap water and unsweet tea. I didnt even taste a hint of lemonade. So if youre an Arnold Palmer fan dont waste your time lol

John Mitchell Skinner Went for a Black Friday brunch, and it was brilliant. They had speciality coffees which were nice, hot and iced! We especially loved the chilaquiles! The French toast is 100% worth getting as a side or a main! Our waitress, Ale DeAnda was excellent and very attentive, and nice to my parents who were visiting the restaurant for the first time! This is for sure the best brunch place in Laredo! The atmosphere in there is always perfect for any occasion. Cant wait to come back.
