Casey Martin This is a great stop for gas, clean multi-stall restrooms and just about anything you could need on a road trip. They even have a dog run attached to their very ample parking lot. This very charming, old school general store has such an impressive variety of products - everything from a pharmacy to clothing to toys and gifts. Plus they have all the normal convenience store drinks and snacks. The young man working greeted us with a friendly hello and made us feel welcome and appreciate as customers (which sadly isn’t the norm for a lot of places). You can really feel the love and faith that is at the core of this wonderful store! We travel between Colorado and Houston often and Clarendon, in general, is a nice, clean town and definitely worth pressing on from Amarillo if you’re on a road trip out this way.

ernesto garza If you havent been here, youve been messing out on some killer food! I have yet to find something i dont like from their menu. Its a great friendly vibe with some even greater service. I recommend the Ribeye loaded fries (popper style). Or the chicken popper burger. The quesadillas are killer and that salsa they make is to die for. You wont regret trying this place. Ive made it a weekly ritual to pick up something from them. Im sure you would to.

Daniel Hamby Tried this new place in Crockett after the old one had closed down. It has been cleaned up inside. They have a buffet or order off the menu. The service was great. The food tasted great like a home cooked meal. I got the fried chicken and it was some of the best Ive ever eaten. The buffet has three main dishes, sides, salad bar, and dessert. This place is definitely worth checking out.

John Dirkson Have you thought about a food challenge? Look it up on YouTube. Basically a family meal of everything but if one person can eat it, show casing everything you have to offer. It’s free if you completed it maybe with a time limit of under an hour. Men’s challenge is bigger and women’s challenge is smaller. Get a t-shirt advertising your place if you win the challenge. Maybe a gift card to return back. Have the rules printed out or posted online, and get a signed waiver from the participant. Have a losers list and winners list posted.
