Freddys Frozen Custard & Steakburgers - Gainesville

Rating: 4.1 /5
Kyle Pearce Both the jalapeño pepper jack burger and grilled chicken club were very good, cooked to perfection. The small fries were tasty too. Sauces were a little funky however I found the jalapeño sauce to be the best.. the vanilla malt was okay.. I think Braum’s deliver better tasting malts. This is my first time here so I enjoyed it.

Be Cool Be Calm Eats - Baytown

Rating: 4.8 /5
Steve This place knows flavor! Tried the Mochiko chicken, teriyaki beef and loco moco. Everything was absolutely delicious. Well be back to try the Kahlua Pig and Chefs specials. The pina colala cake was delicious as well. Definitely a must try place if you live in the area.

GUARAPOLLO & MORE - Baytown

Rating: 4.6 /5
Daniel Rideau Guarapollo & More is a hidden gem in Baytown! With authentic flavor, warm people & true home-style cooking! The moment you walk in, you’re greeted like family — it’s clear this is a true mom-and-pop spot where everything is made with love. The food is absolutely incredible — full of authentic Mexican flavor and freshly prepared. On the outside, it maybe cosidered a typical hole-in-wall asthetically, but every dish tastes like it came straight from someone’s home kitchen. Their guarabowls are perfectly seasoned, the rice and beans are flavorful, and the homemade salsas bring just the right kick. Their burritos, (especially the grande version) is single-handedly one of the biggest you can get & I personally promise it will fill you up unless youre just simply a glutton for punishment! You can tell they use quality ingredients and take pride in every plate they serve. In addition, the fajita beef, chicken & sausage portions are extremely generous & youll most definetly get your moneys worth. Beyond the food, the service is warm and genuine. In conclusion, this is my personal go to spot if you’re looking for real Mexican food in Baytown — not the chain-restaurant kind, but the real deal — Guarapollo is the place to go. A must-try for anyone who loves great food and even better people!

The BLVD Steakhouse - Waco

Rating: 4.5 /5
Linda Taft BLVD delivered a truly memorable dining experience. The food was outstanding—every dish bursting with flavor, clearly crafted with quality ingredients and culinary care. The seasoning was spot-on, and the textures were perfectly balanced. From appetizers to entrees, the plates arrived looking absolutely beautiful—garnished just right and presented with restaurant-level elegance that made us pause for pictures before diving in. The atmosphere was just as impressive. Inside, the space feels wide open and thoughtfully designed, with modern touches and a relaxed, upscale vibe. Outdoors, seating by the pools created a breezy, resort-like feel. It’s an ideal setting for slow sips and good conversation. However, be prepared for a slow pace when it comes to service. While the staff was friendly and welcoming, the wait between seating, ordering, and receiving food was longer than expected. This isn’t the place for a quick bite—but if you’re looking to unwind, linger, and enjoy great company, BLVD fits the bill beautifully. Would definitely recommend for date nights, celebrations, or when you just want to treat yourself to great food and good vibes—with no rush.

Vallerie McDaniel Wow! What a hidden gem! Had never been here before but will most definitely be back! And hopefully on Green Chili stew day. So delicious. Just a tad kick in spice but man what flavor it has. My husband had the green chili chicken fried steak and absolutely loved it! You have to check this place out!

JAB It only took me 68 years to finally step in to the Tap for lunch. You would think living in eptx all my life I wouldve been a frequent patron once I turned 18 and legal. My wife and I ordered their famous brisket nachos and all those who have said their the best nachos werent kidding. The best nachos by far. You gotta make the trip downtown and visit the Tap!!!!!
