Patrick Zajac Xochi is stellar! First time having purely Oaxacan cuisine and it was great. You MUST start with the Mole sampler; I didn’t even know so many varieties of Mole exist! They were all delish and so different from each other, yet I couldnt pick a favorite because I loved them all. For my main I had the Barbacoa de Res de Zaachila which I really enjoyed. The rolled tenderloin was really cool and it was just a well rounded dish. For dessert if I’m gonna get anything here it’s gonna be chocolate. So we got the Cremoso de Chocolate, some Mexican Hot Chocolate, and Churros on the side. Everything was fire and I would have again.

Kavitha Krishnan Great food, romantic and peaceful ambience. Chicken Alfredo was so juicy, cheesy and fresh. Shrimp diablo was deliciously spicy. Will definitely be back to have a wonderful Italian food experience close by.

Kathleen We came here for dinner and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The hamachi crudo was fresh and flavorful, and the carne asada was a standout. Service was warm and friendly, making for an overall great experience.

Ena Vega Based on my one visit, this place seems to offer top quality dishes. I went for their $1 oysters happy hour on Tuesday- totally worth it!! & also tried a special dish they had that week. I never thought pork and pasta were a match it definitely shocked my taste buds, in the best way. Reservations are recommended specially for happy hour.

Sarah Haight One of the best in Austin for sure. Better than Este! I recommend reservations, there was a line before they even opened. Parking is a bit tricky, super small lot but paid street parking available. The staff was friendly and cool. The vibe inside was dark and moody, lots of conversations. Their tequila selection was sooo impressive. I hate when you go to a place and ask for a fancy tequila and they are out of it. They were also SO quick with the drinks. Impressively fast, we were never left thirsty. The food was incredible. Loved the ceviche with the apple broth. The tuna hibiscus aqua chile was great too. Loved the frijoles de veneno AND OMG THE HOUSE MADE TORTILLAS. Also, you have to get the sweet papas (at the bottom of the menu). Amazing. Loved every bite. The desserts were impressive too. The seasonal scoop was actually our favorite bite, lavender. So gentle and smooth. The chocotaco is a MUST. Not like the one you ate as a kid! We stayed for over 2 hours, left stuffed and happy.
