Crowl Raven (Maven Raven) The food is out of this world amazing and I had to leave with fresh tortillas hot off the press! It’s so authentic I felt like I was in Mexico! I truly am grateful for discovering this gem of a restaurant, owned and operated by such a lovely family! I’ll make it a point to travel this direction each time I drive this way.

Rickyp If you’re in the Kerrville area, then you have to eat at the Branding Iron restaurant inside the Y O Ranch Hotel. Friend of mine asked me if I’ve eaten there. We haven’t, so we drove there from Comfort. Walked in and felt like we were in a Colorado resort. The atmosphere was so beautiful, huge Christmas tree, shoulder mounts of large game, and the woodwork is amazing. Buffet style menu. Missed breakfast, so we ate the buffet. Got the salad with my favorite fresh beets on top, chicken fried steak, mash potatoes, and black eyed peas. Food was delicious and the service was great. Our waiter Ezekiel, filled our glasses continually, without asking. I suggest that you try this place out. Give it 5 stars.

Agathe M I went for brunch and genuinely enjoyed both the food and the drinks: everything was flavorful, well-presented, and served at just the right pace. The atmosphere was such a standout too. I visited around Halloween, and the décor was absolutely on point: fun, creative, and really added to the whole experience. I’m already looking forward to going back during the holiday season to see how they transform the place because if it’s anything like their Halloween setup, it’s going to be amazing. Overall, I highly recommend Mamajuana to anyone looking for a great brunch spot in downtown Houston: delicious food, great vibes, and a super welcoming ambiance.

Kathryn Galaway The only thing wrong with this place is that I just now found out about it. The food was outstanding, starting with their house made salsa and tortilla chips. Y.U.M. The entrees were fantastic, and the desserts looked wonderful, but we didnt have room for any, so well have to eat fewer chips next time. The prices are also very reasonable We will absolutely be back!

Maah Fonachu Had an amazing impromptu dinner here. One of the best tacos I’ve ever had. We had the beef and red snapper tacos and it was sooo yummy. Perfectly seasoned, fresh, and served hot. We even got extra rice and beans on the side. The complimentary bean dip that comes with the chips and salsa (also complimentary) was chef’s kiss!! Our server Denis was super kind, thoughtful, and attentive!! We will definitely be back with family and friends. Reading from the other reviews, there has definitely been a huge improvement. Visit this place for authentic Mexican food and you won’t regret it.
