R & J Cafe - (Near Hereford, TX)

2 /5 Madison Benson, RN: I honestly don’t understand how this place has good reviews. Maybe for a small town, this is all they have — which is unfortunate. The service was terrible; my server didn’t write anything down, asked me twice what I ordered, and still brought it out wrong. When the food finally arrived, it was completely flavorless and unappetizing. Even my kid, who eats pretty much everything, wouldn’t touch the chicken and waffles. Between the poor service and bland food, this was one of the worst breakfast experiences I’ve had. Definitely not going back.

5 /5 martin: Always great service and the food is hands down the best in town! Ive been coming here for years, and the quality has remained top-notch the entire time. It’s rare to find a place that is so consistent, but the food here is always this good!

5 /5 Taydra Fahie: I was in town for work and looking for a good breakfast. Found this gem on Google and I was so happy that I gave it a try. My breakfast did not take long at all and I absolutely loved the French toast with all the toppings. The fruit was fresh! I had no complaints at all. Hopefully I get another project out there just so that I can visit again.
