RibCrib BBQ - (Near Sherman, TX)

5 /5 Thomas Ashby: Friendly service by our waiter and others. Food is always good but today was extra good. I had the Smokin Chicken Nachos that were LOADED with chicken and just the right amount of pico, cheese, n beans. The dusting of BBQ seasoning was just the right topping off.

2 /5 Merry West: It’s a bbq place, and our sandwiches had no bbq on them, even though we ordered sandwiches that was supposed to have it. Then they told us it would cost extra to get bbq on the side. So, we had no sauce with our meal. Plus, they shorted us 2 side fries. We were not happy. The pulled pork sandwich was good, but I had my own sauce on it since I refused to buy their sauce. The ribs were ok, but better with our sauce on them.

5 /5 luke c: The roughneck burger was worth every penny. Plenty of flavor from the brisket and fried pickles really takes it up a notch. It got busy when we got there and took while to get our food but they comp’d one of our meals. It was worth the wait everyone enjoyed their meals and waitress was amazing.

1 /5 S V: The last time we went to the Rib Crib in Sherman it wasn’t very good, so it’s been Almost two years and we decided to give it a second chance. I was working a job at Will Roger’s Airport on OKC for three and a half years, and the Rib Crib up there was fantastic. I went here in Sherman hoping that the last time was just a bad day, but nope! The food was absolutely horrible. Anyone that thinks their brisket or pulled pork is good, must be BBQ challenged. Both were very dry and lacked any smoked bbq flavor. I ordered the “Motherload” in order to gather a good sampling of their meat, and it was very disappointing. The picture in the menu looks really good, but what they brought out was just not good (see pics). My wife had pulled pork and smoked turkey. The pork was so dry you had to flood it with bbq sauce to make it edible (see her pic after bbq sauces was added). The turkey was processed gelatinous deli meat like what you would get at Walmart (not even Kroger or HEB quality). Oh yea, and the spicy fried pickles appetizer plate had enough oil on it to keep my truck running for a few years, was just a horrible meal from every aspect. There wont e another try - sticking with our local bbq joint close to home (RRR).

5 /5 Neel Zbinden: I have to stop and take the time to give 5 stars and if I could give 10, I would! First, I want to give major props to the hostess, Sierra, for being amazing and patient with me over the phone as I had many questions for some special clients that we had to cater for. She talked me through my entire order and even took the time to step away and ask a couple of questions for me to make sure that I had everything taken care of. You’re very lucky if you find employees like this these days, she is a gem for sure. Next, I want to say how grateful I am for their general manager, Katrina, and I don’t know if I spelled that correctly:-) she called me with the total and went over the order with me and we made a couple of changes that were going to make our event the best possible and make sure that our clients are well fed and happy. We haven’t even had the barbecue yet and I already know it’s going to be amazing because of the way both of these people interacted with me and spoke about their barbecue. So whoever is out there that wants to know, your team is doing a stellar job and they went above and beyond to take care of me and because of that, we will be back for sure! We feed a lot of hungry folks, and your name is at the top of our list when we are out in the area. Thank you so much for your service and I can’t wait for everyone to try the barbecue tomorrow.
