Ritas Mexican Restaurant - (Near Rosenberg, TX)

5 /5 Mario Bonaccorso: Okay.This is the second time I had to eat here.It is awesome. I drive thirty miles to eat here because the mexican food restaurants in our town are average. My wife had the the fajita chicken chimichanga and I had the burrito texano. The texano burrito has fajita meat, chorizo and ham and it is loaded and it is very very good. I added the fresh chopped jalapenos, which were not hot, as a matter of fact they have a great flavor. I highly recommend they give it a little bite, just enough. I will continue to come here to eat whenever I have a craving for real good mexican food. The waitstaff, when I come here is very friendly and cordial.Theyre very responsive and polite.

1 /5 victoria belmont: This restaurant has changed dramatically... and unfortunately, not for the better. Ever since the new manager(owner son) took over, everything has gone downhill. The food quality is no longer the same, the prices have increased.... One of the things I always appreciated about this place was the staff, friendly, attentive people who had been there for years. Now almost the entire team is new, and the difference in service and atmosphere is impossible to ignore.... It is truly sad to see how a long-standing restaurant, has declined so quickly. Unfortunately, since the owners son took over, the restaurant has lost many loyal customers and very good employees... The new owner simply does not know how to run a business. I have witnessed the way he speaks to employees, and it is extremely unprofessional. There is no leadership, no respect, and no clear direction. That lack of management shows in the service, the food, and the entire experience. When the previous owner( his father) was in charge, this restaurant was excellent, great quality, great service, and fair prices. Now, its getting worse and worse. Its heartbreaking to watch a place with so much history decline because of poor management. I wont be returning, and I cannot recommend it as long as it continues to be run this way.

5 /5 Zac Collins: This was our first visit, and we are already planning to go back. It was later on a Friday after my daughters cheer practice and they seated us without hesitation. The food was great, but this review is really about the service. If 10 stars was an option it wouldn’t be enough. Our waiter, Jose, was an exceptional and exemplary young man. Working hard on a Friday night in service of others, GREAT attitude, and shared that he was planning to take his driving test and get his license. Sometimes it’s the people that make the experience, and the great food here was only furthered by the outstanding waitstaff. The busser was taking empty plates off the tables to keep things clean and tidy… TVs had the game on… queso dip was great. Overall wonderful experience.
