Rositas Mexican Restaurant - (Near Lockhart, TX)

Kami Swanson We showed up with 8 people. Our server greeted us promptly. The food was amazing and it was so nice to experience a locally owned restaurant! Highly reccommend stopping in and trying the menudo; it was delicious!!!!

Amanda Noelle This pathetic fast food establishment isn’t fast at all seeing as I waited in line at The drive-through waiting for someone to take my order for 10 minutes before I decided to just drive through and exit then waiting an additional 15 minutes behind a car they had parked at the end of the drive-through where you couldn’t exit after honking and flashing my lights, they refuse to move when the associate from Burger King came out to give them their food which they should’ve been delivered at the window, which is how fast food works they just waved at me when I said excuse me. I’ve been waiting here for over 15 minutes trying to exit they didn’t say anything needless to say don’t waste your time here. They think that they’re gonna avoid corporate intervention by making cars move past the delivery window so they can see them as though they’re keeping things Order when they’re not.

Shelley Renae Read about the time my husband and I were discussing the fact that I thought part of my fish was missing off the plate. The server comes back to tell me that the cook is already grilling me another piece of fish because she noticed it fell off. Now that’s how you run a business.

Dalton The staff were friendly and easygoing. Everyone working the line was wearing gloves. Tacobell soft tacos supreme are always a treat! The big guy with the tattoos was cool and helped me with the kiosk.

Syd Grant This was on my list to visit so we planned a trip specifically coming here from lunch on our way back home to Fort Worth from the hill country. Caught them after the Sunday lunch rush so sat right down and ordered. Love the old school diner with the soda fountain bar. Fresh pies were on display and had to save room too. The staff is all very friendly and down home. The prices are reasonable as well. I had the small (next size is double and then a triple party is XL) chicken fried steak with their fresh cut waffles fries. The CFS was remarkable and lived the gravy as well. Glad I opted for smaller size so I could have some pie. My wife let me have a bite of her patty melt and it was so delicious! You can taste the difference in a fresh groin beef patty too! The pies were amazing but my cherry jubilee was exceptional. Loved the homemade crushed crust and nuts. Great place to stop and have some down home cooking!

JAB It only took me 68 years to finally step in to the Tap for lunch. You would think living in eptx all my life I wouldve been a frequent patron once I turned 18 and legal. My wife and I ordered their famous brisket nachos and all those who have said their the best nachos werent kidding. The best nachos by far. You gotta make the trip downtown and visit the Tap!!!!!
