Rusty Pit BBQ - (Near Hereford, TX)

Abby I had the best chicken I have had in my entire life. Do yourself a favor and order the Pollo Con Mole. The flavors are perfectly balanced and I cant wait to go back. The fajitas were perfect, best we have found here in New Braunfels. The appetizer selection is great. The booths are a bit small for my personal preference (like really Im not a skinny girl) and their drink menu could be enhanced by adding more options. The tequila old fashioned had too much Bitters and I would have preferred a standard old fashioned. The service is excellent. Making the entire meal an experience rather than just getting some food somewhere.

EarnhartBuilt We arrived at 6:30 on a Friday, just in time to get a table without a wait. The service was great even with a full house. The bread and the Shrimp Scampi was our favorite! We cant wait to come back, such a great vibe.

Angela Daniels First the parking is convenient.. you can valet or you can self park in the garage connected to the building. The atmosphere is really nice. I love the fact that I can watch all of the football games leading up to the playoffs on all of the TVs around the bar area. There are oversized booths which are very comfortable. The food is very good. The prices of moderate. The weight was not very long and the food came out in a timely manner. It was a great day.

Vanessa Camargo I was pleasantly surprised by the cozy atmosphere and the friendly service. When I walked in, I saw the menus right by the door, but I wasnt sure if I could pick where to sit or if someone would seat me. After figuring it out, I liked that they had both regular tables and booths against the wall. You have to wait in line, grab a tray, and order your food. Depending on what you order, they either give it to you right there or give you a number to take to your table. One thing I really liked was how they served the mimosa. Instead of just giving me a pre-made drink, they gave me a glass, a little bottle of champagne, and a small jar of orange juice so I could mix it myself. It felt special. The menu had a lot of choices, and We ended up getting pasta and crepes for lunch. Both were really tasty, and the portion sizes were just right. I also liked that they had a coffee station where you could help yourself, and they even had free bread with different jams for everyone.

Laven K Okay this is my second review. Food is still top notch. They didnt miss a beat, I had a fast Friday and decided to pick up lunch.. Super cold bottle water and a 5 minute wait in my truck, food was delivered to my window.. Service!!!! Before I could get to my destination those fries were devoured. I was hungry no doubt , but the seasoning hit and the gravy was 100% I enjoyed it so much . The gyro is always a solid.. Fresh ingredients , yes from a food truck, veggies were crisp and in this heat thats something my friends . Keep up the good work D!
