Santo Pecado - (Near McAllen, TX)

3 /5 Eli Rodriguez: This is definitely a place for the vibe. But the food could be better. $5 for chips and 1 oz of salsa, don’t recommend. Coffees were good. Would like to try more of them. Chilaquiles looked promising. But the salsa was a bit too much to be able to enjoy the full dish (spice levels were on the higher side, I prefer if the spiciness doesn’t sacrifice the flavor). The green salsa that came with the chips would’ve been a much better choice for this dish. The steak, definitely do not recommend. Asked for a medium, got it well done. Asked server if we could get it redone to medium, and while they agreed without issues the second iteration was rare. Decided to just go with it, but the meat was tough and bland. No flavor was present whatsoever(not even salt), which was surprising since it’s labeled in the menu as marinated(rest of plate was okay). Would like to come back and try other stuff. But I feel like they focus more on the visual aspect than the flavor aspect of the meals.

5 /5 Patricia Anahi Estrada: First time at Santo Pecado and I loved it! Chris our waiter was incredible and extremely knowledgeable about the drink and food menu. The happy hour was awesome with delicious cosmopolitans and the banana nut latte was incredible! My compliments to the baristas, bartender, and our waiter Chris for the wonderful experience. Will be back soon.

5 /5 Christopher Clinton: I have to say I have enjoyed the experience both times Ive visited. Im not a sweets person and was tentative when trying a flavored coffee but the balance of flavor to sweet is perfect. Chilqquiles are very good. If youre spice sensitive be wary on the weekends. The Carnitas eggs Benedict are super flavorfully delicious, could use a little more toastiness for some crunch though. The staff is friendly, attentive Overall a great experience

5 /5 John Cano: We have been here for brunch and decided to try dinner. All I can say is AMAZING. We shared the Reef & Beef for dinner. The steak was on point. Along with some salted vegetables that we asked for. You need to come and try this place. The staff is very friendly and food is served promptly.
