Shaw’s Southwest Grille - (Near Granbury, TX)

5 /5 Aida Peterman: Great food! We sat in the back on the patio and listened to the fountain with a waterfall in the background. I thoroughly enjoyed the Elote Quesadilla. Had a bit of a kick—Perfect amount of spiciness. Hubby had the chicken fried chicken with jalapeño gravy and coleslaw . Everything was prepared perfectly. I am pretty picky about my coleslaw and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I had a jalapeño margarita. One was enough for me! It was very well prepared. Compliments to the bartender! We’ll definitely come back when in the area!

5 /5 Charles B: Edit 2025-12-26: Came back to see how things have improved. Overall, they have improved. 3 alarm burger was still good. Still no where near 3 alarm, but had a bit of spice. Elite quesadillas were good, loaded with chicken, weak jalapeños (not spicy). Fried pickles were good, and a very large portion. The southwest ranch was the spiciest thing on the table. Server (Evan) was great. So much better than the opening week. ************************ Stopped in to check them out, since they finally opened. Started off bad... Both of our drink glasses were very dirty (food and stuff on them). The manager got that taken care of (out server appeared to be the only one working inside, so a passing manager was faster). Server was very slow with things (straws, etc...). Food was good. Chicken fried chicken was good, but the jalepeno gravy had no jalepeno flavor (way too much cumin though). Three alarm burger was very good. Actually seasoned and kind of spicy (and extreme rarity in this area). Finished off by the waitress taking my plate away, while I was still munching on my fries... lol... Guess that was a get out. Well be back. Hopefully the issues were due to them having just opened.

3 /5 Tracy Derstein: Well...we really had high hopes for this place. My husband and I have a lot of history here (from this location...before Shaws, when Ketzlers and Fishermans was here). He proposed to me from this very place in 2019. But.....the best part of our experience was the iced tea. I ordered a smoked turkey club wich was mostly bread and only had 2 thin slices of turkey. My son ordered a burger. He gave it a 3 out of 5...Said it was very bland. GRUMPS has much better burgers he said. Fries were not fresh and were cold when we got them. I really did have high hopes for this place because we love the location so much. Hope they continue to get better. Granbury deserves a good place to eat.

5 /5 Adrian Guerra: Came in during the October Fest celebration on Friday night. Place was super busy, but everyone was super polite and friendly. We got seats at the bar and Jimmy was phenomenal. Managed to balance gets all the drinks out and still being super personable with everyone seated at the bar. We had the Buffalo Mac and Cheese and the Grilled Tilapia and Shrimp. Both tasted amazing and came out nice and hot. Will be back again for sure!!!!

4 /5 Nadja: We ordered the potato skins as an appetizer, the all American burguer and the 3 alarm burguer, also the cheesecake for desert. The appetizer was my favorite. There were 4 potato skins with shredded cheese, sour cream, bacon & chives. The burgers were also very good. The bread is very tasty. The 3 alarm burguer had charred habanero, serrano & jalapeños, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and chipotle mayo. The burgers came with fries. I really enjoy restaurants with an outdoor patio, so that to me is what stands out. Its just fun and casual. They remodeled and added a bar and also a stage for live music. We went on a Wednesday night and they were pretty busy. No live music that night.
