Smittys Smoke House - (Near Jasper, TX)

4 /5 Carlton Hebert: Im hard to please when it comes to food, however this place should be on the best BBQ in Texas list. Ive eaten at multiple places on the list and Smittys was better to me. My only complaint would be 86 the " dirty rice" it wasnt good. The brisket, ribs, chicken and Mac and cheese were all good.

3 /5 Allen Christopher (Chunky): The two girls that took order and took payment were rude didnt listen and not at all apologetic for there adutude. I asked for a drink when we were checking out and was ignored. I ordered stuffed potato I asked for it to just actually be loaded and before you say anything Im not cheap ill gladly pay for extra and tip for amazing service. The potato lacked any seasoning hardly had any BBQ sause on it didnt get that so couldnt even eat it because I couldnt mask bland flavor.wife got two meat plate she said wasnt impressed with flavored couldnt even finish hardly any of her plate. Friend that was with us didnt even want to finish her plate. My suggestion is just go to hamburger depot and spend the money or anywhere else. This place dosnt care enough about there customer or customer service to have you spend your money here second time here because thought first time a fluke but nope still bad food still rude staff give it 2 stars at best because building is cute and well set up.

5 /5 angela halbert: We LOVE this place. We have changed the way we travel to visit my family in Mississippi just so we can eat at Smitty’s. Sliced and chopped brisket amazing! Ribs are falling off the bones. Sides are fabulous!!

5 /5 Shelly Hewitt-Rogers: Walk in- it smells like heaven. The ladies were quick and helpful with a smile. The Cowboy Pie yum! with jalapeño and sour cream, yes please! Cherry Cobbler very tasty!
