Erik Smith We love traveling through Marshall, Texas during the holidays, when the downtown area transforms into a Christmas village complete with ice skating, Santa’s workshop activities for kids, hot cocoa stands, and more. The perfect way to cap off that experience is a family dinner at The Ginocchio.
Not only is The Ginocchio a registered historic place tied to the old train station (which is a treat for history fans and kids alike) it also delivers a truly high-end dining experience. The service is exceptional, the menu is excellent, and everything we’ve ordered has been exquisite. My go-to is the ribeye steak paired with an Old Fashioned, which has never disappointed.
My wife has a gluten allergy, and the staff is always knowledgeable and helpful when guiding her through the menu. The kitchen clearly takes great care with preparation, which makes dining here comfortable and worry-free for her.
Whether you’re visiting Marshall during the holidays or stopping through at any time of year, The Ginocchio is absolutely worth putting at the top of your list.
