Smokey Mos BBQ - (Near Georgetown, TX)

4 /5 J C: I have visited several Smokey Mo Barbecue locations over the years, including Round Rock, Cedar Park, and the location off 620, and I’ve generally had consistent experiences. Because of that, I expected the same level of quality during my recent visit to the Georgetown Wolf Ranch location. Unfortunately, the food was not consistent with what I’ve experienced at the other locations. The ribs were dry and lacked the tenderness I’ve come to expect. The brisket was also dry and required barbecue sauce to make it more enjoyable, which was surprising given the quality I’ve received elsewhere. I’m sharing this as constructive feedback, as I’ve had positive experiences at other Smokey Mo locations and hope this one can improve to match the standard across the brand.

1 /5 COWBOY MASTER “Repo Agent”: This group of employees except the girl needs customer service training. Those guys dont smile nor greet you when there. Just not the type of servers people like. Today, theyre out of the pork loin again, and always out of some sort of meat. Maybe its time to find a more friendly BBQ place with a nice atmosphere, because this type of behaviour cant happen. Not friendly employees at all.

4 /5 Jasmine Wells: Nice place to grab a quick bite for lunch! Their pork ribs and chicken were AMAZING. Great texture & seasoning. My fiancé got sausage & chopped which was okay. Their BBQ sauce wasn’t good at all which was the biggest reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Their food doesn’t need it.

5 /5 Sarah Johns: Smokey Mo’s: the food is fantastic, and the staff is phenomenal. Smokey Mo’s in Georgetown is a favorite of ours. Expect a clean restaurant, exceptional customer service from a great staff that always greets you with a smile, plenty of toppings from the topping bar, and satisfying meals every time. I am addicted to their mouth-watering sausage, mac and cheese, and potato salad. We have almost conquered their entire menu, and we have loved it all! Their BBQ is spectacular and they have all our BBQ favorites. For this visit, we came in as a large group for a late dinner and the staff rocked it. Everyone was starving, especially the kiddos, and the staff was so gracious and friendly, and they got our food to us fast with everyone’s plate prepared to perfection. If you are looking for spectacular Texas BBQ and exceptional customer service, this Smokey Mo’s is the place to go.
