Something Different Grill - (Near Lubbock, TX)

Tom Brimer Six of us enjoyed a fabulous dinner with great food and large portions. We had the turkey sandwich, fish sandwich, turkey burger, BLT, and two children chicken fingers along with fries, onion rings, and sweet potato fries. All were excellent. All of us left full and satisfied. The service was great and the food came out very quick.

The cheese enchiladas were excellent—stuffed to perfection and paired with a unique pickled slaw that added a tangy, vinegar-forward bite I wasn’t expecting but really enjoyed. The chips were just the right thickness and tasted fresh and flavorful, which always sets a great tone for the meal. The margarita was a bit light on flavor, but it was definitely not light on tequila, so no complaints there. What truly stood out was the service. Even when we ordered three enchiladas and only two arrived (apparently the plate was cleaned a little too efficiently!), the staff handled everything with grace and humor. Outstanding service and solid food—definitely worth a visit.

Jason Schwab Neat little restaurant close to what can loosely be called a mall. Atmosphere is rather nice since it has this country farm esthetic. Service is friendly although they did speak too quietly. And the food was very delicious with the shoe string fries being very addictive and the chicken tenders being hot, crispy, juicy, and fresh. The only cons I have are the Cajun fries are too strong and the prices are too high. But overall, I really liked this place. Definitely recommend to those living in Plano.

Evene Hopes Stopped in and ordered a 3 meat plate, in my opinion was worth $21 and a homemade cookie :) Food is delicious, the young lady on the register could smile a bit . Overall this is a great place to eat. Great old time bbq place vibe when you walk in. That’s how you know the food will be good. Will definitely return.

Molly Emily The food here was truly wonderful, and the service was amazing! Our waiter Phil was funny and light hearted while still staying professional, I wish there were more waiters like him. The drinks were also good, and everything was very reasonably priced. We will definitely be coming back!
