Sundown at Granada - (Near Dallas, TX)

3 /5 Rob Turner: I really wanted to like this place more. I’d sum it up this way 5 star bar tender, 5 star drinks, 1 star food service, and mediocre food. Better management/management presence would resolve all issues quickly. 1. Only 1 Bartender for mid day Sunday brunch crowd is ignorant. Especially given 2 hostesses, 6-7 wait staff, a worthless bar back, and someone possibly from the kitchen who served me. 2. Food service brought appetizer and food at the same time. I could live with this, although really a foul, but they drop the food and leave no silverware. I even asked her for silverware and I guess she just ignored me. I stared around the restaurant as servers were quickly cleaning tables, 2 hostesses jaw jacking with each other, 4-5 servers at the end of the bar laughing and looking at cell phones. I surveyed this landscape for 4-5 minutes until the overworked bartender caught my eye. He quickly came down and offered silverware and salt and pepper. 3. Food was great with the exception of some strange citrus flavor coming from either the brioche or the combination of brioche, brisket, and hollandaise. If I had to guess spoiled brioche or old yeast used in the preparation. I kept thinking it was citrus or something like chimichurri seasoning in the brisket. Pretty sure it was the brioche. 4. Vibe overall was good, and almost every table was taken on arrival much fewer on departure. Maybe an off day, I’ll try it again down the road.

5 /5 daniel dutton: A great place to pick up a live music show. We were able to enjoy dinner on the patio and then a wonderful live concert at the venue. Very affordable for the prices free valet made the night even easier with what could’ve been very difficult parking. Really a great place. Family friendly and were able to take our kids and enjoy dinner as well.

3 /5 Sofia Robles: I love free movie night!! I try to go every free Tuesday I have. I enjoy being asked what movies interest us, and the trivia is always a fun treat before the movie starts. Scott makes it a very fun night! Winning some trivia can end with fun prizes. The food is ok, I haven’t been impressed with the few items I’ve gotten except for their praline ice cream! That was so good! I get it every time! The atmosphere on the rooftop is cozy and you get a great view of the sunset!

5 /5 Brenda Laney: Had an amazing meal at Sundown! We ordered the burger and the Freebird grilled chicken sandwich, and both were absolutely delicious. The burger was juicy and cooked perfectly, and the grilled chicken sandwich was flavorful, tender, and really well seasoned. The atmosphere was great — relaxed but lively — and the service was friendly and attentive. Everything came out fresh and hot, and you can tell they really care about the quality of their food.
