Taqueria Jalisco #20 -Food CA (Near Plainview)

4 /5 Jeff: Food was ok. Maybe its my taste buds playing a trick on me tonight. Chips and salsa, chips were good and the salsa couldve been so much better if they would back down on the Cumin spice. Okay here we go ... Ive eaten Mexican food in many places including Mexico. So I know the difference between authentic, texmex and Cali. My go to is Carne Guisada with brown gravy, rice and corn tortillas. Again, my brown gravy(the menu said with brown gravy) had more of a red then brown color to it. Yepper, once again the culprit was to much Cumin. P.S. would I eat there again? Yes, but Ill stick to tacos and burritos.

1 /5 Domanik G: The service was good she waited our party however the food wasnt cooked well and also its gotten expensive, they actually added their own tip I wouldnt recommend going back, and I dont want to either. We shouldnt be forced to give tips if we choose not too. At %20 they added $11.91. its kinda ridiculous they did that.... And the food wasnt even that great. And the food didnt have spices, I havent been there in a few months, but but cant believe their food was bland and tasted old... If its 2025 do not go eat there, I wouldnt Anymore.

1 /5 Ernest Chez: First time there today and I was extremely disappointed. The smell of mop water consumed the whole restaurant. Our party was already seated and had ordered ao we went ahead and stayed hoping maybe the smell would fade. I ordered a menudo and before the waitress set it down in front of me I could smell nothing but the smell of uncooked menudo. No spice whatsoever. Needless to say I became very sick to my stomach eventually vomiting at home. I will never be back.

5 /5 Amanda M.: The waiter (I cant remember his name) was absolutely PHENOMENAL.. he served our party of 18 with no trouble at all ..I was certainly impressed with his service. It was our first time in this city/restaurant all in all, 5 stars.
