Texas Roadhouse - (Near Killeen, TX)

Tom Bidot Walking in, you couldnt see that this place was busy, but it was very well sectioned off, and each section seemed to be packed with people, everyone having a good time. It smelled great, and the entire vibe was fun, friendly, and festive. I wanted to get the sampler platter, but it said no substitutions. I asked the server just to confirm since Im allergic to shellfish. She said there was no way to substitute anything, which was completely unfortunate for people with allergies, and the only reason why I cant give five stars for this review. So I ordered their specialty chimichanga. It was definitely smaller than most places and not deep-fried; it was more of a burrito, but the triangle-shaped rice was a cute addition. I would recommend anyone to come here if theyre interested in any Tex-Mex type of food. The server I had was attentive, knew the menu very well, and gave wonderful service. I would come here again. As I walked out, they had a free self-serve soft-serve ice cream cone machine.

T M Joseph was our server and that man provided one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Yeah the location was gorgeous. Yeah the food was freaking delicious (try the crab legs). Yeah the cocktails were world class, but the service was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. My face still hurts from laughing. It was such a treat after our son’s bootcamp graduation to be so thoughtfully welcomed, and humorously ribbed it was probably one of the highlights of a trip of lasting memories. I’ve got one more teenager hopefully we’ll be back in a few years for another graduation. Do yourselves a favor and eat there. It was such a treat. And Justin was the friggin man.

Galaxie Solutions LLC We absolutely loved this place! We stayed here both on our way to visit family and the trip back home (a half way point for us)and was recommended to us by family. It is such a charming place. Friendly, welcoming and accommodating. It is and old building that has been very well remodeled while still keeping its old west charm. Love that they are dog friendly. Rooms were very, very clean. Beds were ultra comfortable and quality bedding. We had a king bed suite type room. Dinner which was delicious. The ground prime rib cheeseburger was the best burger Ive ever had and the fries were outstanding. Had an El Capitan Old Fashioned which was delicious. You will want to arrive early (we were there on a Saturday evening) because it was super busy. Service was a little slow but our server was super nice the food was so great that it didnt matter to us. Breakfast offers a decent variety but it is serve yourself. Lots of options; waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, pastries, cereal, breads, juices etc... Would definitely stay here again.

Veronica S. Hernandez Quick lunch stop at Agave Jalisco in George West. The salsa was really good with just the right amount of spice. The chicken fajita plate was tasty and the carne guisada tacos were delicious. The only thing I’d change is the tortillas — they would be even better if they were homemade. Overall, great food and a solid stop for lunch!

Paris Gray The mojarra frita was a win. Big, fluffy, and cooked just right crispy outside, tender inside. Simple, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Would order again.

Jan They have lots of vegan options that are clearly marked and brown rice! The green curry was delicious and the regular level spice had a kick to it. I did not care for the mango sticky rice, the rice resembled just regular white rice instead of sticky rice.
