They also have pre-made meals for families or singles and sides and desserts as well that you can pick up from their cold rack. Oh and the pickles are legit

Kenya Grigsby First time here and wow, this place did not disappoint. The food was so good — legit Cajun comfort that actually hits the spot. Everything came out fresh, seasoned perfectly, and the portions were no joke. Our server was super attentive and patient the entire time, checked on us without hovering, and made the whole experience smooth. From the pasta dishes to the fried catfish and even the beignets at the end, everything was fire. You can tell they actually care about their food and their service. Definitely coming back. This is a new go-to spot for us.

Leilani ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five Stars, Without Hesitation I rarely give five stars across the board, but this Cracker Barrel truly earned every single one. From the moment we walked in, we were treated with such kindness and care. The hostess, our waitress, the gentleman clearing tables, and even the ladies at the checkout counter in the store area all made my husband and me feel genuinely welcomed and seen. That kind of hospitality is rare, and it did not go unnoticed. The food was absolutely delicious, comfort food done right, and we were pleasantly surprised when they let us know about the military discount, something our own local Cracker Barrel has never mentioned. That extra thoughtfulness meant a lot to us. There is some construction happening on the main highway nearby, but honestly, it was a non issue. We simply turned around a bit early after missing our turn and had no problem getting right into the parking lot. Because of the exceptional service and overall experience, this will now be our Cracker Barrel. Anytime we are driving through this area, we will stop here, no question. Thank you to the entire team for going above and beyond. You turned a simple meal into a really meaningful, memorable experience.

Betsy Vazquez Visited on a Saturday morning when it wasnt too crowded. We were seated promptly, no wait. They have indoor seating and patio seating in front of restaurant and in the back next to the river. Server was always attentive. Our food didnt take long to come out. I wish they had brunch or breakfast but sadly they dont. I had the club sandwich which it was good and despite not coming with a side, it was big in portion. Everybody liked their food, and the view. In the patio up front, the have a small bar and stage. They had a singer that day. Overall its a good experience, always recommended if you are visiting Gruene.

H C I have been wanting to come to this restaurant for months and my husband and I finally made it. I had the BEST time! I loved the atmosphere and service was excellent. Our waiter was outstanding! We went for lunch and I couldnt believe the special. All you can eat! For an amazing price! I was very excited to try Korean fried chicken and I was not disappointed! The BEST chicken wings I have ever eaten. I loved cooking at the table and with the lunch special, there are so many options to try! We had the chicken, sirloin, pork chops, brisket and beef belly. All very good. This is my new favorite restaurant. I am telling all of my friends and family. You MUST try
