The Old Gin - (Near Wortham, TX)

J. Nicole Barrett I have loved The Cheesecake Factory for many years strictly for their delicious Cheesecakes! I am known to go there, grab some slices, and leave with several flavors to try! Yum! I rarely dine there. Today however, my son wanted to celebrate his Birthday with a family lunch there! Our food was delicious. Every single item! The Carbonara never disappoints, and my Spicy Rigatoni Vodka Sauce pasta was fantastic. The extensive children’s menu is also such a great touch! Our kind waiter went out of his way to ensure my son had a beautiful Birthday celebration! Very good experience all around and I love the decor / ambiance.

Bradlee DeCuir Sumo Japenese Resturant did not disappoint!! The food is phenomenal. The service is impeccable. The kitchen is fast. If you get an appetizer, wait a minute to order your entrée because they are on top of it!! The Golden Budah roll is my new favorite. You also get soup, salad, and edamame. Price is normal for any resturant now days. I would definitely recommend venturing on over and trying it out!! First time here, but its definitely not the last!!

Igor Ivushkin I ordered food here today and everything was excellent! The borscht was rich, flavorful, and tasted very homemade. The portions were generous, and the fresh buns were perfect with the soup. The samsa pastries were especially good — crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The Korean-style carrot salad was a great touch. The manty were soft, hot, and well-seasoned with a nice dipping sauce. Service was quick, and everything arrived hot and nicely presented. You can tell they cook with care here. Definitely coming back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Brian Durr Our first visit there, and while my son and I visited when they were not very busy, we immediately felt like regulars who had been coming there for years. We talked with our waitress, one of the owners, and even some of the other customers. Outstanding place, and we will be back often! I almost felt like I was at Cheers (80s TV show)! For what I thought was just a simple burger joint, the food was incredible! If youre looking for a gluten free restaurant who actually understands what that means, the owners daughter has Celiac Disease, so they completely understand!

Mrs J Super friendly staff, attentive, clean establishment with extra seating to the left of main area where you order. Outdoor seating as well! Food was delicious! Seafood platter is shown and we also got the Cajin Trio (gumbo, crawfish Étouffée, and red bean/rice) highly recommend the Trio!!! Gumbo was on point!

Kathryn Ruth was my server for the evening and she was very kind! She did a wonderful job with taking orders and made sure that my steak enchiladas were made to order. Even though the restaurant was busy, she kept up with the table very well and made sure everyone got their food and drinks on time! The food was delicious! Especially the cilantro lime rice! My only critique is that the salsa was not very good and could have been better. It had a strange flavor and was stringy. The rest of the food however was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was wonderful! The lights were dim, making it a cozy place to enjoy your meal. The overall style and décoré of the restaurant was upscale and the music was inviting! I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a nice evening out with their partner, friends, coworkers, or family! Make sure you have a reservation if you’re with a group because they do get busy!
