Simon Voight 5 Stars El Olivio in Sherman, TX is hands-down one of the best authentic Mexican restaurants in the area! Weve eaten here several times, and every visit is better than the last. The carnitas tortas were absolutely amazing—perfectly seasoned and loaded with flavor. My daughter had the beef and bean nachos, and the homemade tortilla chips were honestly the best weve ever had! If youre looking for authentic Mexican food in Sherman, this is the spot. Great service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere. We highly recommend El Olivio to anyone wanting a true taste of Mexico right here in North Texas!

The service deserves a full five stars—our waiter, Diego, went above and beyond, welcoming us with genuine warmth and treating us like family. It’s rare to find a restaurant that truly embodies care for its guests, but this one does just that. As for the food—absolute perfection, every bite was a chef’s kiss. Chey C My mom and I decided to have lunch here and we loved it! She has been wanting to come here for such a long time. The food was warm and delicious. The tea tasted fresh and the waiter was attentive. The flavor of everything was perfect.

First Choice Junk Hauling Ordered the chicken mushroom and half rack ribs. Everything was fresh and you could really taste the quality of food they serve. 10/10 would recommend. Jen was very attentive. Definitely be coming back. Try the desserts, you won’t regret it.

Kimberly Byrns Wow! We meet some friends here for dinner. We had never been their before but it is one of their favorites. Now we know why. The staff was amazing from the moment you were greeted, service at the table and even all the thank you as we left. The food was absolutely wonderful. I ordered the shrimp and grits. It came with pork belly and the sauce was the perfect medium to bring it all together. My husband ordered the ribs and was very impressed. That is hard to do because he is very picky about ribs. The texture was great and the sauce was perfection. This will be one of our favorites to visit when we are in the area. Cant wait to try some of their other selections.
