Wray Westbrook Great food! The portions were awesome. Lots of food. The onion rings are home made and perfectly done. Fried fish and shrimp were delicious. Peter was our server and he was great. Even though we were there about an hour before closing, everything was fresh, even the iced tea. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Sasha Rivera Cute little restaurant. Tried the country fried chicken with mashed potatoes and corn & everything was delicious! Went again & tried their cheese enchilada special & it did not disappoint! Only concern: the womens restroom stalls had no locks on them so if you dont see someone in there, you might open the door on someone. Dont understand why theyd allow this.

Evelyn Cataquet-Cruz This place was recommended by a friend and we went all the way from Dallas,TX to Temple, TX and it worth the trip. The friendly and very professional staff is a plus, our waitress know very well the menu and the specials for the day and answered all questions, the food was AMAZING, the garlic parmesan bread was delicious, the brick oven pizza that my husband had was off the chain, and the pasta it was delicious. Then came the dessert, the tiramisu and the bread pudding with ice-cream JESUSSSSS!!!, that was sinfully good.

McKenzie Fields This place has the best sushi in town. The sushi is always fresh and the rolls are large and do not disappoint. We’ve tried a variety of things on the menu and the flavors are always on point and the ingredients are good quality. The atmosphere is welcoming and everyone is very friendly

Maurice Garcia I have to say, Roost completely exceeded every expectation we had. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming but the real surprise came with the food. I ordered the Four Cheese Grilled Cheese and added a grilled tomato, which took the sandwich to a whole new level. The flavors blended perfectly rich, melty cheeses with that fresh, smoky tomato absolutely incredible. My wife had the Brisket Omelet, and it was just as impressive. You could taste the freshness and care in every bite. What made the experience even better was the customer service. The staff wasn’t just doing their jobs — they were genuinely friendly, attentive, and made us feel like valued guests. Their service matched the quality of the food, which is saying a lot because the food was top-tier. It’s rare to find a place where everything hits the mark: flavor, freshness, atmosphere, and service. Roost nailed it across the board. We will definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a meal that feels both comforting and elevated. An easy 5-star experience.

karisa fowler Tried this place couple of years ago and wasn’t impressed. BUT, it must have changed owners or cooks. Had stuffed avocado with charro beans and grilled veggies. Amazing, have to give the cook a high five. Thank you to the bartender who suggested this awesome meal.
