4 /5 Sig’: I had a really great time at Whiskey Cake! The service was great! Our waitress, Alexis, had an upbeat attitude and didnt check in, when we were in the middle of eating a huge bite, which I really appreciated. The food was really good. I especially enjoyed the Wood Grilled Salmon, fries, and Fish N Chips. The menu didnt feature any experimental or new dishes, just staples, which originally, I was disappointed about. The classic dishes (American burger), however, were done very well and elevated by Whiskey Cake. The ambience felt very cozy, you can tell there was a lot of effort put into the design. Very spacious, many seating lounges, and a central theme throughout all the decorations, showed the care that was put into the restaurant.
I went with my mom during on a Friday evening during Happy Hour, we noticed it wasnt jampacked and still relatively calm. Perfect for a lunch date. I do have to say it was so cold in there! So, if youre like me and like to be warm, definitely bring a sweater. Other than that, there are no down sides. Food was good, service was great, vibes were there! Would definitely come back! Cant wait to try the Brunch Menu next!
