Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar - (Near Stafford, TX)

5 /5 S B: My partner and I visited this place on a whim, not expecting to be blown away by EVERYTHING. The atmosphere, drinks, appetizers, entrees, and service were outstanding. We had the Speakeasy Margarita & the Great Escape drinks which were perfectly balanced cocktails. We had the Crab Fritters appetizer & shared the Steak Frites with Parmesan fries and added a side of the Mac & cheese. The food was DELICIOUS. We both couldn’t stop talking about how tender the steak was & how good the sides were. My partner never really eats Mac & cheese at all, but I was surprised to see that he finished the entire bowl of his at this place. Our server Miguel was fantastic! He gave us a description of what we were ordering as we ordered each item so we knew exactly what we were getting. We can’t say enough about how great he was from start to finish, this restaurant should definitely be grateful to have him as part of their team! All around, this place is just wonderful. We live in Jackson, MS, but we already are planning to make a few trips back here JUST for this restaurant! 100/10 stars!

5 /5 Trastevia Acklin: Whiskey Cake is good! It was my first time here trying the brunch and it was tasty. Chris our server was fantastic! He recommended the goat cheese fondue which was really good! I ordered the Farmers Breakfast and it was everything I enjoy at breakfast! We also ordered the Champagne Problems Tower which was recommended by Chris and it quenched every bit of thirst we had! Overall the atmosphere, food, and service were really great! I will be back! Thank you Whiskey Cake!

5 /5 Artiistiq A: My family decided to have our Thanksgiving dinner at Whiskey Cake this year. We really enjoyed everything! Cell and Alexis were incredible servers that tended to our every request with a smile. The candied bacon and the fish and chips were my favorite. Every dish was Hot and was fresh & we aren’t ever disappointed.Thanks for making our holiday right!

4 /5 Sig’: I had a really great time at Whiskey Cake! The service was great! Our waitress, Alexis, had an upbeat attitude and didnt check in, when we were in the middle of eating a huge bite, which I really appreciated. The food was really good. I especially enjoyed the Wood Grilled Salmon, fries, and Fish N Chips. The menu didnt feature any experimental or new dishes, just staples, which originally, I was disappointed about. The classic dishes (American burger), however, were done very well and elevated by Whiskey Cake. The ambience felt very cozy, you can tell there was a lot of effort put into the design. Very spacious, many seating lounges, and a central theme throughout all the decorations, showed the care that was put into the restaurant. I went with my mom during on a Friday evening during Happy Hour, we noticed it wasnt jampacked and still relatively calm. Perfect for a lunch date. I do have to say it was so cold in there! So, if youre like me and like to be warm, definitely bring a sweater. Other than that, there are no down sides. Food was good, service was great, vibes were there! Would definitely come back! Cant wait to try the Brunch Menu next!
