Yanagi Hibachi - (Near Amarillo, TX)

4 /5 Melissia M: The koi pond and waterfall in the lobby is really nice! The service was excellent. Our server was friendly and attentive. She did a great job of keeping our drinks filled and checking if we needed anything. Our food was delicious. We each ordered the Hibachi Chicken and one teriyaki hibachi chicken. The portions were good, my only complaint would be the amount of vegetables seemed light compared with other hibachi restaurants. Some of us didn’t get certain veggies (like zucchini) but had an abundance of carrots. We all liked the dipping sauce. We also started with the Gyoza. It was excellent. We ordered a California roll and a sweet potato roll; both rolls were delicious. The avocado on the California roll was very fresh tasting, and we were surprised by the sweet potato roll it had great crunch. The restroom was very clean.

They have over 12 hibachi tables, also set up private rooms for parties or events which so attract me as we like to hold family gathering party. Today, I had their lunch Benton Special. Its so so so delicious, crispy dumplings, healthy California rolls… teriyaki Beef… price under $15… I love it and comeback again ~

5 /5 Thao: We sat at the regular dinning table and everything was amazing. The grilled squid was the best I’ve had, so flavorful and perfectly cooked. The cucumber slices topped with salmon were incredibly refreshing. We also ordered the New Zealand mussels with kabuki steak and scallops, and every dish came out back-to-back with no long waits. The absolute best part of the experience was our waitress, Sunny. She was an absolute doll! So sweet, attentive, and on top of everything the entire time. Excellent food and outstanding service. We’ll definitely be back!

5 /5 Jennifer Quintana: What a great place to meet and eat! This is a beautifully decorated restaurant! The koi pond and waterfall in the lobby are exquisite. The service was excellent. The waiter was nice and friendly and was attentive. Our food was delicious. We each ordered the Hibachi Chicken because with the name of the restaurant being Hibachi, we wanted to try it first! It did not disappoint. The vegetables and chicken were seasoned just right and the ginger sauce complimented the food just right. Then we ordered the tempura fried Ice cream and it was tasty as well. They have an extensive menu and we will be happy to go back and try more of their amazing selections!

4 /5 Gerry Davison: Magnificent building, wonderfully appointed and decorated, along with great food and service. This establishment has been long awaited since China Star closed and Amarillo has definitely been rewarded for its patience. My wife and I absolutely enjoyed our meal and the overall atmosphere. The fish are a particularly nice addition.
