TheCherry RVLife We were hungry and in downtown Bastrop poring over reviews. Gracies caught our eye, not only for the overwhelming positive reviews, but also for the great atmosphere. We were not disappointed. It was a beautiful and abnormally warm winter afternoon, which made for a perfect lunch on the patio. Service was prompt and super friendly. We split a spinach salad as an appetizer. We liked it a lot - good amount of diced purple onion and bacon to add some flavor and crunch. The dressing is a little thin, but dont let that turn you off. It doesnt overwhelm the salad itself. The chicken fried steak was truly good - the steak was tender and the breading was crunchy and tasty. Good gravy. The french fries were better than most places. Kinda disappointed with the green beans - under seasoned and uninspired - they really needed a dash of salt and bacon fat. The strip steak was cooked exactly to order, which we appreciated. The garlic mashed potatoes were good, but seemed more like a casserole. The broccoli could have benefited from some red pepper flakes, butter, and lemon juice. Prices were reasonable. The kitchen was efficient at getting the food out quickly and all hot on the plate.

Cassie Westover Stopped by The Japanese Cowboy food truck in Gainesville, Texas today, and wow, what a treat! I had the chicken and veggie hibachi along with some egg rolls, and every bite was delicious. The food is seriously mouthwatering! I also got to chat with the owners, who are super friendly and made the experience even better. Definitely a hidden gem in town. I’ll be back for sure! Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area!

Christopher Lund Really good food. The chicken tenders were great! It is out in the middle of nowhere where but I recommend. The atmosphere was fun also. A lot of people there the night I went but service was still good. Not expensive either. Plenty of parking.

Jessica Luckett Baker’s Ribs out of Caddo Mills catered our Remember For Me & Quentin fundraiser last night, and they were absolutely AMAZING. Honestly a 12/10 experience! The food was incredible, the service was outstanding, and their team handled everything from setup to cleanup with total professionalism. They showed up ready to go, everything ran smoothly, and when it was time to leave, they exited quietly and respectfully. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food, and as an organization, we couldn’t have asked for an easier, better catering experience. If you’re looking for top-notch catering with mouth-watering BBQ and excellent service, Baker’s Ribs is the way to go!

Michael Magnus The food here was delicious, with creative chef-inspired recipes and farm to table ingredients. I had the sweet potato enchiladas, which had an incredibly decadent sauce to it. My wife’s salad was very tasty, with some of the best goat cheese I’ve ever tasted. Definitely worth giving it a try.

SUPER DAGP The food is amazing. The service is top notch. Elizabeth was kind, friendly with a big smile all the time and great recommendations. Excellent service from Oscar as well. I love this place and will return soon.
