She is definitely the best waitress I’ve gotten at this establishment and is genuinely just amazing overall! I would come back just to have her serve me again!

Thomas Holmes This place is amazing the food there is 100% quality. It is homemade and very tasteful. They have tons of choices to choose from on a steam table all four sides and they give you a good quantity for around $10. You cant go anywhere else and get you a great meal the best price. Ive been going here since my brother introduced me to this place. Almost everyday now for lunch. Heres some photos to give you an idea of what they I have here. Yall Must try this Place yall will not be disappointed

Eric Arnold This place is a classic "hole in the wall" with really good food. I especially like the chocken and sausage gumbo along with a side of fried shrimp and onion rings. The shrimp and grits are really good as well. Great place for take out. Order is completed quickly with all the extras.

David Gorsich My wife and I tried this place at for the first time. I’ve had an unsatisfiable craving for a Greek salad lately, so this was the place on Sunday evening. Of course, I had the large Greek salad with an order of chicken added. My wife ordered the beef kabob plate. The salad was on point with a ton of chicken, and the kabob plate was enough for two meals. Definitely worth the trip - please support this small business!

dejaaa I was on a road trip and had too find something to eat before hitting the road again. I seen Layne’s and decided too give it a try. When I say it was so delicious I mean it. The lady that was in the drive thru was very polite and patient. Layne’s had very good seasoned tenders spice was good! THERE ROOTBEER IS SOOOOOO GOOD! Layne’s is the place you should try while your on a road trip!

Phillips Joe (JoeP) Fantastic and upbeat staff! Friendly and smiling! Laid back and awesome! Almost like a hole in the wall, but BETTER! I hit this place up on burger night. "The Westerner" was cooked to perfection and exactly how I ordered it. There are extras that, of course, cost extra. But its worth it! The flavor was a spot on good burger! AND, I didnt have to cut it in half. I substituted hand battered onion rings for the side. They were cooked to a golden tender yummy perfection! Topped it all off with a nice draft and it was a perfect meal. I even got a meal to go so I could eat it again later.

madison umejiaku Everything I try at their food truck outside Red’s Icehouse is absolutely delicious, and I’d consider myself a tough critic considering I’m creole. Definitely give it a shot!

Joel Camacho The food was absolutely delicious. This is my go-to spot whenever I’m craving BBQ and Redbirds is closed or too far to drive. The BBQ is consistently great, with bold flavor and just the right amount of spice—you can dial it up as much as you want. Highly recommend stopping in and giving it a try!

S P Fletcher The kind of southern restaurant in the heart of an old, deep, east Texas town. The redfish main was outstanding. Sides and apps, including drinks were also very well designed and under management of a well organized kitchen. Parking is free and abundant, and though the city center is clearly gentrifying, this was a pleasant surprise and one of the best restaurants in all of Texas, in all regards.

Cayla Williams Modelos is the place to go. It was absolutely fantastic food. The green sauce is the best Ive had! The tacos and fajitas were outstanding. The service was great. The manager David is an awesome guy. He came over and introduced himself to us and gave us great hospitality! Definitely will go back for more.

Brandy Winstead Delicious smothered pork chops. I purchased the last 2 for the day! Rice, mac & cheese, corn, & cornbread. Seasoned perfectly, reasonable price & great portions. I will be back to try other things.
