Russell Blanchard I have stopped here many times on my travels to and from Houston and New Mexico. Never once have I been disappointed with the food or the service. Recently the exterior has been updated with new paint and generally a more pleasant, updated look. The restrooms are always clean and trash free. The staff are friendly and serve your order with a smile on their faces. My go to order is two red beef burritos. These are consistently delicious and well worth the price. I think what makes them great is the quality of the beef and the freshness of the ingredients. How they get the beef to be delicious and grease free is a mystery to me but its always wonderful. The red sauce is like hot fudge on vanilla ice cream, a great addition! I recommend this restaurant!

Damien Alger Single handedly the best taco bell Ive ever been to, staff was friendly, building was clean, restroom was spotless and the food was incredible and portioned properly! By far the biggest and best tasting Gordita Crunch Ive had EVER!

Rische Beeson The fried seafood platter is terrific. Everything on it always cooked perfectly. I really like the fried oysters that are never overcooked (like happens all the time in other restaurants). I plan trips to eat at Texas Cajun in Lamesa. Worth planning your trip to eat there and the food & service is just as good at 3 in the afternoon as it is at the normal hours. My wife gives the grilled seafood platter 5 stars.

Mr. Shaft Mitch’s Texas Style Barbecue in Lamesa is where the brisket reigns supreme—succulent, tender and the BBQ sauce enhanced the flavor. Save room for the banana pudding: velvety, layered with vanilla wafers, and so close to my mom’s recipe it sparks sweet nostalgia. But what truly elevates Mitch’s is its great food along with its staff. Anna and the crew radiate warmth, greeting me by name and memorizing my order. Their genuine hospitality helped turn me into regular patron. Keep up the great service.

We stopped just after lunch rush and it was still fairly busy but were helped right away, our sandwiches made as we asked, even checked to see if it was enough veggies and dressing for our tastes. The staff was pleasant and did a good job. It was a welcome break from the road, thank you

Jennifer Barnes What a great local diner! Arrived for a very late lunch and ordered the green chili burger and a green chili grilled cheese. Also had the fries, onion rings and a brownie sundae. What the heck? Crazy good!

Chris McEwan On 10/03/25 my wife and I ordered for take out so I never made it inside for atmosphere. We ordered the Lemon pepper chicken wings bone in and they were wonderful, hot, fresh. We also ordered a three meat plate. Brisket was tender, moist, hot and seasoned to perfection. The ribs great. The sausage was smoked and unbelievably good. If you are within walking distance or if you had to drive from Lubbock I highly recommend this place . For our first time visiting it was awsome.
